Beckham aside (‘cos that’d be just too easy), who’s the best-looking MLS All-Star player? Is it classic Californian Dan Kennedy, wavy-haired Graham Zusi, steel-jawed Jay DeMerit, ab-tastic Heath Pearce, 2010 Cosmo bachelor Chris Pontius, bizarre fashion advisor Aurélien Collin or the perpetually-stylish Thierry Henry?
Rather than use our usual lengthy algorithms that take pitch prowess, chin dimples and astrology into consideration, we’ve gone old school and simply created a photo gallery of players who we believe will truly make this year’s All Star game a more beautiful thing.

I admit that I had no idea who any of the people on this list were except Henry and Donovan. I just don't pay attention to MLS. Having said that and having perused the pics gallery, I must say that Chris Pontius is quite handsome, the kind of looks that would turn heads when he walked into a room.

The hottest is HANDS DOWN Thierry Henry. No doubt about it. He's like wine, only gets better with age. That silky moka chocolate skin of his is delish.

I wish someone could explain the obsession with Beckham…..I just don't see it, get it, understand it, support it…….REALLY? BECKS? Even if you think he's good looking (open for debate), that prepubescent voice of his removes all appeal…

for years, I've wanted to ask those who are much more familiar with the game than I what the appeal was. I only discovered soccer in March, and since then have definitely decided on my particular obsessions…..(ahem, Ramos – can I get an AMEN).

Tough call – voted for “boyfriend” Zuzi, because he’s adorbs and plays for my team, but would also pick Demerit because I have seen (and supported) the documentary and love him.
Hottest? It’s a tie for me (and that’s not a bad thing!). Heath Pearce and Dan Kennedy. I can’t decide since both are equally attractive.
