A Night Out At The Oscar Del Calcio AIC 2010: The Good, The Bad & The Shiny
We know. Javier’s hair. We’ll discuss in a minute. Images: Zimbio.com.
Italian footballers! Oh, how we love to love. And yet? Much like the rude arse Yetis placed outside our favourite nightclubs whose sole purpose in life is to push us away from guest list queue towards the one full of peasants, footballers’ fashion choices often act in a similar, aggressive shoving manner to our senses.
Wow, that was one random nonsensical comparative statement but never mind. Let’s take a look at what went down at the The Oscar Del Calcio AIC 2010, shall we?
The Good: Inter Milan’s Julio Cesar and Maicon, who wore modest, event-worthy attire. Looking well-groomed and happy as pigs inyouknowwhat, they both look snazzy without bordering on sleazy.
The Bad: Giorgio Chiellini’s Bonnie & Clyde pinstripes, which were no match for his “my mama dressed me” skinny tie.
The Shiny: No, it’s not a homie who meets up with his Brandon Lee fan club on weekends doing his best, “The Crow Goes To Prom” look (left) swaggering down the red carpet. Actually, it’s Edison Cavani looking all sorts of slippery whilst dry.
The Okay, We’ll Take It: Diego Milito and Antonio Di Natale. They came, they made an effort, they deserve a cookie. If we hadn’t eaten all of them.
Added Bonus: Javier Pastore, the Serie A coming of Roque Santa Cruz deity. Give him scissors and time, dear friends, he’ll get better with age.

Milito needed an iron tough ;p, Pastore my new hot thing in football, his smile is just left my heart melting aww it makes you want smile too, yeah?
Extremely interesting article post. Your article is really interesting. I liked this article. This blog post is great! I have to say that after continually reading terrible as in, same old information, little quality content, etc. blog posts on other sites, it’s good to actually read something that has some thought put into it. It’s a pleasure to read quality article posts, especially after continually seeing rehashed crap that writers and bloggers are throwing out nowadays. It’s always nice when I come across content that actually has value, I’ve been seeing a ton of subpar writing attempts lately. Anyways, thanks again and I’ll check back regularly to see what else you have to offer. I’ll check back in the future to see what else you have up your sleeve. Keep up the wonderful work! BTW, I like your site design, but your header image was only loading half way for me. P.S. Your header is messed up a bit in IE. The problem could be on my end but I thought you might want to look into that.
I thought Pastore was wearing a hat…
Something tells me Pastore is gona need more than scissors and time….he might need a good tailor, i can foresee an Iker situation with him. But he is Adorable!!!!!!
Di Natale looks adorable…goatta love him.
Finally, it's nice to see that there are other men that are as wardrobe challenged as San Iker.
Thanks for restoring my faith, Kickette!
I don't mind the Shiny. Edinson Cavani is soooo hot!!! Did you guys ever get to see his pics in the Uruguay NT calendar??? Oh yes, there's a calendar!!!
Buh gah..wha?! You've rendered me into a bumbling fool at the mere thought of a Uruguay NT calendar. I must find it now!
i totally agree with kickette Pastore will get better with time, not that he isn't super cute now. ( will get even better at football 2)
Even better is what Pastore does for my fantacalcio team. Keep scoring those goals, baby… except against Roma of course.
Oh, Cavani… no…
Wow Pastore does look like Roque
I thought it was him when I first saw these photos! I was like, 'OOOOOH! New Roque photos!?
…" hahah
I love it when sexy footballers dress sexy, it's just soo…… sexy!

Pastore is Argentine, not Italian.
I think what they meant is that he's Serie A's answer to Roque, not that he's Italian himself.
Edinson Cavani is so adorkable, does he still have his braces? He's a shiny, and definitely a cutie
o yeah i think he is still rocking the braces
