AC Milan: Suited Style-Off

We’re slaves to a good suit parade, Kickettes, and today’s clash of the stylish vs. style-less is courtesy of AC Milan’s 25th anniversary celebration of Silvio Berlusconi’s regime.
As you can see, Pato can barely contain his delight (that, or he’s just feeling mucho awkward standing next to a life size poster board of his potential flame’s father).
Deep In The Trench Details: Mathieu Flamini vs. Nicola Legrottaglie

Understandably so, the choice of attire wasn’t entirely theirs to make. Even though a majority of the current squad members sported their official match day suits, Mathieu Flamini and Nicola Legrottaglie dared to be different. And not necessarily in a good way.
Because we’ve got a less-than-stellar look at their formal flair, we’re leaving our tokens of gold-chain affection for the French midfielder and his wet-weather preparedness.
Scarf Supporters: Massimo Oddo vs. Alexandre Pato

Since this unnecessary neck coverage dual is pretty much of an even keel, we’ve got to trust our instincts and side with M. Oddo for complementing his suspiciously sly side-eye and smirk with spikey hair and chin strands. Just this once do we find Pato’s unrelenting cheesiness to be endearing, though.
Carpet Comandeering Couples: Paolo and Adriana Maldini (+ his dad) vs. Massimo and Paola Ambrosini

The similarities between the club’s past leader and his current predecessor’s dress sense run deeper than their conditioning treatments.
AC Milan’s former captain, Paolo Maldini gets docked an entire summer’s worth of swim shorts (read: top and bottomless summits in the Mediterranean for us!) for his velvet Count Chocula cape; his missus’s curvy cocktail dress would’ve redeemed their collective red carpet ratings had her father-in-law scrapped the duddy denim.
Oh who are we kidding? When were Senior Maldini’s age, we pray we’ll be able to squeeze our toes into 1/2-inch heels and boogey down with the rest of the Sunday evening open bar folk.
Moving on, we’re apt to be just as weary of Mrs. Ambrosini’s cascading dress and jacket hems as she is. Top to bottom, Paola’s being a bit too busy for our liking but that won’t stop us from holding her Chanel bag should she wish to primp her hubby into prime, photo-posture position.

There’s no challenge here; merely us stating our desire to see these two tangled up in a manpile of sorts.

I always LOVE when Milan models, thank you for this!! After the first two fotos, I found it quite easy not to see Berlusconi, esp because Oddo has always been a favorite of mine. But I agree, I would have loved to see Nesta in the lot especially … any thoughts on his new short hair?? (love it)

I don`t like Pato, not as a player and not as a man. He does not do nothing for me… Where are Nesta, Gattuso and Ibra? Oh wait, maybe they didn`t like to pose with Berlusconi poster. Man is a joke!!! Anyway Merkel looks fine.
