Alex Morgan & Hope Solo: Maxed Out

Since we’re still on a high from the phenomenal Women’s World Cup final, we’ve got a few more tidbits on the USWNT to share with our lovely readership:

- Alex Morgan and Hope Solo attended the premiere of season eight of Entourage in NYC last night and looked gorgeous while doing so. We lurve their maxi dresses; you can pick up Alex’s Parker dress here or Hope’s tie dyed Sky dress here. They’re sporty and stylish!

- Also last night, Hope – who has since been declared a hottie by Google association – donned a different maxi dress during her appearance with Abby Wambach on David Letterman’s ‘Late Show’. While there she dished on Donovan, Landon Donovan, who later vowed on Twitter to dispose of her secret dirt when the time/opportunity is ripe.

- Lastly, our congratulations to both Wambach and Solo, who were awarded the Silver and Bronze Balls as the 2nd & 3rd MVPs in this year’s global tournament.

Now back to our regularly scheduled abs and thighs!

Kickette, there should be more about women footballers! I do enjoy nice abs, thighs, etc. but I like looking at good-looking ladies too!

Is there any news on he japanese women’s national team? I’m sure they got a celebration in japan. These ladies look lovely.

I have to keep it real, I do not like the tie dye dress with the fake leather belt, but I much prefer these role models for young girls to reality tv twats.

  4. Amy says:

Very nice. Modest, tasteful, pretty, and I give them mega credit for doing this in the face of their recent letdown.

You can keep having an excuse to post Alex Morgan! She is a WAG! Her boyfriend is playing tonight in the Sounders Manchester United game!

Flirty banter on Twitter? What a fabulous power couple Hope and Landon would make … just saying.

  7. I'm so happy that people are seeing how the lady teams are TRUE professionals. I think some of the men can take lessons from them. They are graceful where some of the men are just plain ole bitchy on the pitch!

  8. FootballDaze says:

They look great! I prefer them in their kits though, kicking butt and scoring goals (or stopping them, in Hope's case).

not only a team of beautiful women but so classy and graceful too (esp in defeat, other teams can learn from them). they haven't just inspired little girls, they've inspired grown women like me too.

    • Rossanera says:

Yes. They're absolutely fabulous role models. Driven, hardworking, poised, gracious and classy … these are the women people should aspire to be, not Snooki and Paris and the Kardashian clan!

I was just thinking the same thing. So classy and inspirational. Plus, it is awesome to look at what an athletic woman looks like. I am sick and tired of seeing these stick thin women who don't eat. I love seeing these women in the spot light and becoming role models for our youth. I think it is important for them to see what a real woman looks like! :)

      • Rossanera says:

Yes, I hadn't even thought of that (maybe because I am not American and grew up in a culture where curves are celebrated?) They look fantastic and REAL. I'd rather see women like them on Kickette than … I;ll be nice and not name names.

    They both look beautiful.
