Alex Song: Superficial Musings About Barcelona’s New Signing

Images: David Ramos/Getty Images.

Why is the state of Alex Song’s hair “don’t” not coming up in any relevant discussions? Across the web you can read about conspiracy transfer theories, this past weekend’s results and how to spot a knock off handbag. Yet nary a single person or pundit is (correctly) questioning what in the world was happening on the head of still-sizzling-in-spite-of-the-poorly-designed-and/or-executed do, Alex, at his official Barcelona presentation earlier today.

Kickettes, clearly the ownness falls on you to discuss. Do us proud, please.

And on a more serious note: Arsenal fans, is the 2012/13 football season breaking your heart faster than you can say “chewing gum on my Louboutins”?

carpet events with custom dresses. This trend was usually reserved for celebrities or royalties, and Wags have joined on this bandwagon because of their highly paid halves. Luxury like this can only happen due to a rich boyfriend.

I was too distracted by his perfect body to even notice his stupid hair.

Beckenbauer and Deyna will be better

As a Gooner, I don't feel any hatred towards Song with his decision. I mean it would be his fault if he will get less playing time in Barcelona. But I'm happy for him because he is reunited with Cesc! They can continue teaching each other samba steps they were arguing ever since.

this looks pretty tame for song.

The outfit is bothering me. Looks too casual.

Re: Song – apparently there were rumors that his attitude was "disgusting" (the reporter's words, not mine) and that Wenger decided to offload him before Song's attitude affected team cohesion. That being said, Arsenal's got a bunch of great new players this season (and possibly Sahin on loan to replace Song), so it's not that bad yet. That being said, the team really needs to figure out why key players always want to leave each season.

Because they see no chance of winning silverware

But there's no denying that our chances would be much better if they had all stayed and been here at the same time. By leaving they're making it harder for everyone else. Arsenal comes so close to winning something every year, any tiny little advantage could have made the difference.

We can't win silverware BECAUSE everyone leaves, not the other way around.

  11. Actually, from a black man's point of view. The hairstyle isn't 'crazy' but just poorly executed. He had his dreads cornrowed or braided up front and left the back un-braided. He probably braids them so the dreads can stand up on their own when he rocks the mohawk. Just a thought. Any other black man related questions or queries let me know. Hahaha.

Don't think I haven't noticed the HAIR. It's crazy! He'll be a strange bird at Barca though. I still haven't got my head around it. Still, I think he's pretty hot. Welcome to the party!
