Alex Gerrard: Birthday Girl at the Bank

Alex Gerrard celebrated her 26th birthday yesterday with a little shopping at Cricket, tanning and hair/nail maintenance. She was spotted wearing a new watch dripping in diamonds, but we’ve yet to get confirmation on whether it was a stellar gift from her hubby Steven, or a her own self-purchased pick-me-up pressie to get through the long day of beauticiousness.

Side note: we like the boots. Is that wrong of us? We’re becoming obsessed with the OTK look for fall. Will you be partaking in the trend?
All she needs is a whip to go with those boots. That bag is wrong and so is the jacket and come to think of it the trousers and the scarf. No, nothing here to like.

The boots are just…..no. Icky and horrible! I'm not loving the ensemble to be honest but Happy Birthday anyway despite the fact that she makes me feel ill.

I think the boots are lovely, but high boots with low-slung jeans? And a leather belt with suede boots? NO!!!! I’d wear waist-high (or higher) pants without a belt, or at least change to a black suede belt to make a better match with the boots!
What happened to her bum? Where did it go?
The cut of those jeans does nothing for her.
I agree with “lose that girl” comment, boots too tall, jacket too short, pants too tight. But she’s cute anyway!

Not a fan of the boots, if you are wearing thigh-high boots then they should be sexy. These are meh…I do though like the rest of the outfit, a rarity for me with Alex's tastes.

This is a little too much of everything and too many shades of grey-ish. Its not really ugly but looks odd.

The boots are good if you have long slim legs, those bits at the top would make my thighs look even bigger. Took me a while to figure what was wrong with this picture – Where is the oversize bag??? She has that little purse under her arm but no bag!!!
The boots might work with something else, but this was not put together right. I thought she was hippy… this picture makes her look like she has man hips– straight down. Maybe it is the jacket… it bulks out her shoulders and gives her a sort of “V” look. I know she’s not shaped like that. Regardless, I hope she had a good birthday.

Happy birthday Alex! The boots look good on her, but I will not be participating in any type of “boots over pants” trend. Mostly because half the time I wear black slacks or skirts or dresses. I don’t think boots would look right with any of those. And I normally don’t like boots in general.
