B-Day: Fernando Torres
Happy 25th birthday, Fernando!
What a year it’s been. You’ve scored some seriously cracking goals, delighted and stimulated us with your pouty faces when subbed or left on the bench, raised the side-eye game to a level of mastery, created mass pandemonium when you decided to cut your hair, made some ridiculous advertisements, sunbathed to a healthy shade of back-slap pink, confirmed that you are capable of growing facial hair and even decided to make wedding plans and bring forth a baby Fernandette. Excellent stuff.
The only thing you weren’t able to achieve was a place on the Finest Five list. We know that causes you some pain. It also causes our inbox pain as it collapses under the weight of the gazillions of Fern-fans who spam us daily about the injustice of the situation. Perhaps you should have a word with Mr. Alonso, as he’s the one keeping you out of play and we’re not quite ready to say goodbye to him yet, though that ginger beard of his is helping your cause.
We digress. Congrats and here’s to another great year. We hope you and every one of your freckles have an amazing b-day!
We will get the double this year!

I actually like Xabi's ginger beard. I find it sexy and I think it's good luck. Maybe I'm alone in this… I've stated this more than once, but when I see this boy it's like I just drank a mug of sunshine. It's kind of the best way to describe how I feel about him.
