Women are so naive until it hapens to them. You should all sit down and map tout he physical and financial logistics of being a young single mother.

Simple child support is not going to cover her costs. She will either have to get a full-time job that will pay very little or not work (at least not full-time). If she works full-time, who is going to pay for daycare? The only way she can improve her earning potential is to return to school. Who will pay for that and the childcare? When will she study?

She is permanently stuck in a cycle of not getting ahead while he lives the high-life.

When a woman has a man's child and he chooses to take on the money role and she the primary caregiver role, then he still has obligations to her, as well as the child, if the relationship doesn't work out. Period.

exactly raina but you got it the wrong way round see….HE needs to take RESPONSIBILITY for HIS actions and all the promises HE made her.

and by the way she is taking responsibilty by looking after her child and taking him to court.

instead just quietly skulking away like a wounded animal she and her family are standing up instead of cowering like many women do.

british girls dont even bother with CSA (child support agency) they just expect the british goverment to pay for there failures.

but she's not doing that,and i respect 110% for that.

i personally think that some people are struggling to understand this… he didn't force her to sleep with him, and she probably wanted to have his baby to keep him tied down (just an assumption here, probably wrong) and quite frankly, i think that all the women should be suing all men in the world for broken promises. she's just bitter…it's so stupid that she wants to sue for broken promises….seriously!

And also, i don't think that he'd just suddenly stop supporting his kid…i'm just saying…

All these people defending this girl are acting like she's an innocent victim. She's an ADULT, she had premarital sex which we ALL know can lead to a pregnancy and then baby out of wedlock. She's no saint, he didn't rape her. She also quit her job and moved in with him BEFORE they were married. That's simply foolish to quit a job and just live off someone else who isn't your husband. I'm sure he didn't force her to do that either. He owes her child support, nothing else. She wrecked her own reputation and needs to TAKE RESPONSIBILITY for her own actions. I'm so sick of all these ridiculous lawsuits (regardless of country)! People need to own up and realize the consequences of their actions and stop blaming them on other people.

if she’s so concerned about giving birth out of wed lock, why did she let him sleep with her, better still she should have kept her legs crossed when he did, surely a girl as sensible has her knows what causes pregnancy

oh god i hope she wins the case.
and i cant believe you girls saying that she’s crazy,she’s doing many women should have aright to do
you can sue your boss you can win money if your marriage partner is adulterous you sue someone if you over and get injured so why can someone not sue a man after making promises of marriage getting you pregnant breaking ALL those promises and dumping you.

and remember in there country things are different in england or usa where 13 year girls get pregnant down an alleyway by some boy they barely even know & then making tax payers foot the baby bills- which seems to be acceptable behavior in little old england.
so i am COMPLETELY on this woman’s side she has every right to seek justice.

we should take up these rules in western country's it will teach all those nasty little men (aliens) lessen about messing with women.

he made a promise so she had baby out of wedlock which is a serious thing where they are from.

she has every right to sue this lowlife .

things are different in some country's it's a shame really that british girls have become so complacent and are getting pregnant by boys you hardly even know and will NEVER pay a penny for the upkeep of your own children.
