Edwin Van Der Saar: I feel very GQ. Practicing my GQ face in anticipation of this moment was a smart move. Messi and Xavi are the same size as my kids. What’s that about? Whoa. Gotta be careful. I almost lost my pose. This is harder than I thought.
Lionel Messi: Two awards, bitches! I may be short, but you know I’ve got the skillz. Yes, I said “skillz”. You better recognize! Plus my girlfriend is mad hot. Why am I talking like this? Word.
Xavi Hernandez: My suit is too shiny, isn’t it? Damn it. My big moment and I’m high-gloss. This is the last time I take fashion advice from Sergio Ramos. No, wait. I shouldn’t doubt myself. Checking my reflection in my sleeves, I look fabulous. I am a winner!
John Terry: I feel very restricted by all these clothes. Hopefully this will be over soon so I can strip off and do some interviews in my briefs. I miss Lampsy.

John Terry, just like the other three, got this award because he deserved it. He's never been 'handed' anything. He has won this award three times- 2005, 2008, and 2009. Chelsea's defense let in fewer goals than any PL team last season. That didn't exactly happen without the man who won this award.
Now that that's been said- lol – I loved your 'dialogue', Kickette! Very funny! And of course I really DID wonder if John had taken Frank as his date! LOL

One thing I don't understand is why John Terry always gets these awards every year he gets these awards it's like people don't think …they just give it to him ……He's not that great of a defender no better than Carra or Vidic or Sami Hyppia ( I miss you big Sami ) ….I think Vidic shouldn't gotten the award and this is coming form a 'pool supporter .
