I must say that I am very impressed with how well Cesc has fit into the team. Even after just a couple days he came on and was instrumental. I know he was raised in the youth program but he has been away for about 1/3 of his life and he's not played with the current Barca team before transferring. He seems happy to be "home" so that makes me happy for him.
I just don't like Alves!! He gets on my nerves, although he is one excellent player in La Liga ( esp his days with Seville), but I seriously never liked him!, so I kind find this wig AWFUL!

Yeah, he's one of my least favorites too. And Xavi, an excellent player but I wish they'd let someone like Andres be the one to talk to the press. Or Cesc even, he seems to have the knack of not polarizing the other team.
I learned to laugh Xavi off! He is the comedian to provide a good joke at the end of the game! I adore Iniesta, he is so adorable and such a respectable player.
Wow, I guess Cesc must be loving being in Barca. Hey, they do win a lot. Hopefully, all that changes this season. Arsenal will bounce back eventually. I'm a UTD fan so I can hate on Barca all I want

I'm an Arsenal/Barca fan and I'm constantly simultaneously happy and sad. In fairness, I think most Gunners knew Cesc was leaving since last year, and he was gracious about it, he still watches Arsenal games and tweets with Gunners, so I think most are happy for him, even if they don't like Barca.
The most pain really comes from the realities of lots of teams but Arsenal having strengthened their squads this summer. Arsenal is really in the s**t right now.

It seems like many teams have improved their squads dramatically this summer, Man City, Liverpool, Man Utd, Real, AC Milan, Chelsea….but what I continue to love about Barca is that they make their own players rather than buying them generally and the players seem more down to earth and lovable because they have not joined Barca because they have been offered huge wages, but more because it is their family! Go Barca boys! Love all the players. Messi is so cute and does not dive and there are quite a few nice young players coming through the B team now! Kickette should do a run down on them. I like one player who is blonde but I don't know his name>? He's lovely

Also congrats to Liverpool, Man City and especially United. Not a fan of United by any stretch of the imagination, but credit where credit is due. Poor Arsene, you can't help but feel sorry for him.
Oh, forgot. Watched the Real Madrid game yesterday and was well impressed. Seems they're off to a flying start as well.
