Beck Talk: Fashion, Fundraising and Family Pets

SOCCER-ITALY/

Time to catch up with the Beckham family and see what wonderful happenstances surround them this week.  Also, someone needs to chase after David and pass him a little peptide cream with a splash of  SPF. Papa needs maintenance.

David

Not fabulous HQ QTYesterday, D-Becks worked the press line at the Adidas Fashion Show for Milan Fashion Week to promote his new range with the apparel company.

He bizarrely chose an angry-making sweatsuit ensemble complete with braces (suspenders) which served zero purpose other than making us think of a pony show. It was all good in the hood, though, as his side smirk more than compensated for the clothing mismanagement. All that’s needed for his “railroad worker” theme is the handle bar mustache.

The Boys

Victoria recently had this to say about her brood on Ryan Seacrest’s radio talk show:

I mean you’ve got Brooklyn who is a real boy, he’s turning into a teenager. It takes him quite some time to do his hair in the morning before he goes to school. Then we have Romeo who loves fashion.  He likes to go out in a suit with a bowler hat…he’s a real fashion lover. And Cruz just wants to break dance every opportunity he gets.

So they didn’t actually do anything which warrants an update, but knowing that Brooklyn is already throwing down for the title of “Most Minutes Spent in Front of the Mirror” against Ronaldo delights us. May we suggest pomade instead of the gel + hairspray combo that most pre-pubescent American teens employ?

Victoria

Cox in Beckham The originalVictoria’s fashion career continues to make waves amongst the celebrity set. Courtney Cox chose to wear one of VB’s creations to last Sunday’s Golden Globes.

Cox, who was awarded one of the ”Best Dressed” by red carpet pre-show Access Hollywood, said she loved the back zipper and made multiple shout-outs complementing Victoria while an audience of 15+ million viewers tuned in. Music to Posh’s ears.

So we get that Posh is really looking to make this fashion thing work.  However her latest formula for success is her best yet: She’s enlisted the help of her cuddly grizzlies as well as David to collaborate on a new range of charity t-shirts which will benefit Sport Relief. (You can buy one here). Hey, whatever Cruz is flippin’ the bird at… we’re buying.

Just be sure to keep Victoria  busy enough that she doesn’t stray off to make some vodka jelly. Who said Mummy V didn’t like the sauce?

And in other ill-dressed, regular folk-sized Victoria news,  you can read on for some vintage gossip involving her decade-old “feud” with Katie Price.

The Family Dog

Last but not least, the newest member of the Beckham clan flies better than the average British citizen as well as the D – F listers of the celebrity world. After receiving a British Bulldog as a Christmas present from his wife, David flew the pup on a £3,000 flight back to the states. We await confirmation that the dog requested Pellegrino in his 14K gold water bowl whilst in-flight.

  3. bam says:

Love the outfit, casual but on the slight edge of smart casual which I think was the point of the clothing line. Adidas but sort of smarter, more fashion-y adidas stuff.

Aw, Beckhams. David looks HORRIBLE to be going through a pressline. Really? Sweatpants?

Poor Brooklyn, lol. Romeo makes me lol, and Cruz… love that kid.

I love the Victoria Beckham dress on Courtney Cox. Love it.

Ah what a nice little catch up to the world of Beckham! Nice work with Adidas there, Becks. Not quite sure if sweatpants are on for a men’s Fashion Week event, but you are Becks so it doesn’t matter.

And well done to Victoria for having Courteney Cox in one of her dresses, a simple, gorgeous one at that, at the Globes!

  6. Lucy says:

stupid to spend so much money on a dog, considering how many families are struggling right now in Haiti
