Beck Talk: Is This A Stiletto I See Before Me?

image

Thespians, theatre-lovers and culture vultures this new musical is for you:

MacBecks.

Yes, it’s what you think it is.

One of the best Shakespearian masterpieces is being revamped, David and Victoria Beckham style. The show’s director, (who has as of the time of our posting, not been declared clinically insane), says the show will be a “wild, comedy romp.”

According to reports, Posh will be portrayed as an ambitious Lady Macbeth for whom husband David sacrifices his career.

Other real-life characters slated to be portrayed in the show — slated to premiere in January 2009 — include Sir Alex Ferguson, manager of Becks’ former team, Manchester United, and Rebecca Loos, David’s former assistant with whom he was alleged to have been more than professional.

MacBecks is being produced by Long Road Productions in Ireland. Time to put those air miles to good use, Kickettes, this one will be fantastically wagalicious.

Wow. Thats all I have to say. Because when you're so famous that you get your own re-worked Shakesperian musical written about you, theres not much to say. And has anyone noticed that Victoria has started dressing like an American teenager lately? No joke, I think me and her not only share the same hairstyle, shoes, and bag but now apparently the same sense of style too.

wouldn’t that change it from the Scottish play to the English play? (from someone who’s performed a very small role in her school play of that exact thing.) Otherwise, hells no.
