Beck Talk: Two Tone Love
Let us state for the record, we are admitting we have a problem when it comes to David Beckham.
We’ve lost all ability to be objective. We just nub him so much. Even when he speaks. Yes, seriously. Okay, admittedly, we are filled with high levels of stress over whether he will complete/successfully construct his sentences, but even the voice doesn’t bother us.
And so, when Becks stepped out on the stage at the Concert for Diana this weekend with bleach blonde hair and a dark brown beard, we took no issue. We swooned, and carried on about our daily business.
But then we took pause. And we took a moment to think: is this look ridiculous? If the men in our life tried to rock this hair/beard colour combo wouldn’t we cut them down to shreds within four seconds of them entering our line of vision? Or, has David rightfully ascended to a level of nummies that allows for this style – in other words, it’s a good ‘un?
Help us Kickettes. This is the first step in recognizing we have a problem. Now we just need to find a 12 step program that doesn’t require us to do anything difficult. And maybe gives free manicures.
I like it and I don’t like it. I’m not really a big fan of wild beards like that- more of a trimmed fan am I.
But the two tone doesn’t bother me that much.
Isn’t the blond, Beckham’s sister Joanna or Joanne?

Well, yea, he looks shite, but it’s David Beckham. You can’t hate someone who could probably do an Oscar-worthy “Wounded Puppy”.
I think the two-tone hair is fine, now, I am having some issues with the that combined with the Mr. Roger’s cardigan, open button down and the huge medallin … it has a 70’s lounge lizard feel to it
I'm liking the beardy look, even though it clashes with the peroxide hair. But he's just having fun with his looks, and lets face it when he introduced Take That at the Diana concert with that lovely smile and shy manner, I think we all just melted. His latest look is not his best by a long way, but his natural charm and general lovelyness cuts through all that.
If Becks turned up naked with wearing just a potato sack, he would STILL be the hotness.

Since I’m being so community oriented as to let Ballacks M know that those are pink goggles pushed up on Romeo’s head and not ribbons (some say its because the lights bother him…who knows), I think SOMEONE should help me ID the woman sitting next to Becks—it could be Victoria’s sister with a makes-her-look-different expression on?
Anything becks does is okay by me.

he looks good with the beard…but if the hair is the same colour! I think it looks weird like that… but I don’t want to be missunderstood… he has to dye his hair..not make his beard bloder… that would look really weird

I say just relax and enjoy yourself. Is your habit hurting yourself or others? Is it affecting your ability to function (any more than it was before)? Of course not.
That’s what’s so much fun about Becks, he’s so sweet and game, you don’t have to worry about the various little hair and fashion disasters over the years. Who cares…he’s just having fun, and we are too.
Now that I have solved your problem, do you have any idea who the lovely lady in the photo is—also the round cheeked gentleman who was sitting with them, holding Romeo, at one point. She looks familiar and he is often out at events/dinners with Becks. Any idea.
So, DON’T do anything stressful, imagine the example it would set for the rest of us!
