All of the above, but I think fewer people get married these days because someone gets pregnant or for the kids. The moral fabric of this country has shifted to the point where children out of wedlock isn’t so high on the radar anymore. I was watching My Big Fat Fabulous Wedding on the WE network the other day and these people were spending up to a million dollars on their weddings, but they didn’t look happy or in love. It was sad to see. One man spent over $500,000 on their wedding and didn’t even get a kiss at the alter. I love to see a love story, but I don’t even hear them in my circle of friends.

whenever that day coes for me, it’s gotta be for love……i want that person that even if we argue sometimes i still love em just the same..that whatever hardships we go through as long as we have each other we gonna be ok…..that person i don’t mind waking up next to everyday for the rest of my life…..
I agree with Groove, people get married for all kinds of reasons. In my point of view I dont think that a lot of people get married for true love. I think they act on emotions and then after the honey moon is over realize that they made mistakes

I WAS there supporting her man. GOD that free kick was one of the most beautiful thing that I have ever seen. He took a free kick less then 10 feet from me.

I think that now a days people get married for convenience. Whether its because their other fits their lifestyle, can support them, is physically appealing, or is just all together bearable. I believe that now a days most married ppl are saying whats love got to do with it? And then they wonder what went wrong with their ass is in divorce court or they get dogged out.

When I get married, it’s going to be about two things: LOVE & SECURITY.
Well I got married because I love her. Not because I had to OR out of convenience. We didn’t have kids. I felt that she was the one. This may sound cheesy but she is what I was looking for. She was smart , she could cook,she was a hustler (never seen that in the female I dealt with before) Nd for those that know her she is cooler than a fan(she can be a smart ass at time, but can too). OF course at time you feel like you are staying with a person because you are comfortable but it come down to plus and minuses for me. Never has the day out weighted the good. Plus she was alway willing to work on the our relationship. What more can you ask for? One thing I wanted is that we plan thing and not be caught in a situation where we were staying together for a kid. We plan! Now shit can change but as of now. We are together because we want!
