Bubbas & ‘Ballers: Lilly-Ella, Steven and Lexie Gerrard
Congratulations to Steven Gerrard, who played marked his 500th game for Liverpool last night against Fiorentina – though this achievement was much tempered by the 2-1 loss to Viola.
But on to the bubbas. We’ll say this: those are some extremely edible kids. Gorgeous ain’t the word. (We love that Lilly-Ella is a mini-Stevie and Lexie is a mini-Alex, don’t you?)
Random Q: What did you think of Aquilani’s official “full” debut?

Gah, Stevie and his girls make me melt into a giant estrogen puddle.
I know very well what Aqui’s style of play is like and I saw wonderful glimpses of the best of him in that game. There was one link-up w/ Stevie that made me gasp w/ delight. I think if his fitness continues to improve and his teammates begin to trust him a little more some serious magic can happen.
And I happen to find him to be eye-candy delicious.
OH god they are so cute I want to eat my insides. Sooooo cute. Ah!
just being honest here.. aquilani doesn't click as someone to trust. that's just me.
and he's not easy on the eyes, either. [unlike the ginger-bearded one who left us for real madrid! we miss you in asia xabi! they don't show la liga here!!]
i just hope the italian stays fit and does his bit to shake up liverpool. considering he got double what xabi started with.. *sighs*
Aww such cuties.. I think both of them luk like steven .. But they have alex’s hair ..
I didnt know Steve had any kids. They cute, they look just like him in a female version kind of way. hmm I wonder if we had kids they would look like that..
they both have alexs eyes, but thats it there both the image of steven lexie more!
awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww they are sooooo adorable!!!
seems like Alex is makin a fashion recovery! woop!
I think my ovaries just cried….the girls are so freaking cute!!!…love them in those Liverpool outfits…
Adorable and so cute!!
super cute kids!
The only problem with living in India, a country obsessed with cricket, is how little football you get to watch. And unfortunately the only two Champions League games being broadcast that night were the Inter vs Rubin & Barca vs Dybamo Kiev.
I missed all of this. Also, Aquilani's debut and Fernando Torres' return after injury.
Seriously though, as long as Nando is fit and ready, it all looks good for Liverpool.
P.S: No more of the Thursday thigh-off. Where will we go for our weekly dose?
and they call you a two man team (!)
why oh why did i have to watch the arsenal match:(
Lilly-Ella is Steven in miniature, female form. Just… wow.
Stevie looks like a really good(-looking) doting daddy.
My tummy went all warm and fuzzy when he held Lexie’s hand tightly, guiding her onto the pitch; when he asked Lilly-Ella to take her little sister to their mom and gently pushed them towards her; and also when he looked back towards them (in between handshakes with Fiorentina players) to make sure they’ve arrived safely at their mom.
AWW!! (:
Thanks Kickette for posting this xxx
ps. Here is another picture of them (http://i.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2009/12/10/article-0-07898557000005DC-288_468x557.jpg). Too cute!
pps. Oops, you need to delete the closing bracket, “)”, after “.jpg” to view the photo. Sorry, my bad.
why, oh, whyyyyyyyy did his girls have to be so cute!!?!
why, oh, whyyyyyyyy does stevie have to be such a loving daddy!? lol
Those girls are just cute
Really love them.
Aquilani? Don’t know, was not able to see the whole game and when they were live in Liverpool, I couldn’t see him though
But… what happend to Alex? oO She looks… kind of normal I think
The girls were SO CUTE last night! They looked really excited to be there, skipping around and being adorable. I just love that family. Stevie was looking back to his old self last night as well, after so long with injuries. Nando as well. Pacheco was a firecracker, and it was nice to see Darby get some first team minutes (I’ll just forget that bit at the end). Aquilani did a great job. First start after almost a year IIRC. He definitely looked short of match fitness and sharpness, which is obviously to be expected, but showed some great quality. Can’t wait to see him blend seamlessly into our first team.
awwww. Stevie’s sooo cute with his little girls. Didn’t see the match tho’
Good news about Aquilaini and Torres!!! too bad we lost…
Lilly-Ella really looks like her daddy. The resemblance makes me squee, it's so adorable.

Is that you Marie…?
Ladies, lets refrain from turning this discussion about babies/bubbas into an episode of Seinfeld, ok? In case you are too young to know about Seinfeld and the baby episode – well google it.
Also comparing people to animals/calling them derogatory names is not ok.
I googled it. And the episode was shown in 1991?? Wow. That’s like a hundred years ago..
By the way, can you just delete the whole thing because I don’t think he/she giving the comment is THE Marie I thought he/she was anyway. Thanks.
Ooh don’t start on the girls looking different, kickette. Can of worms. Stevie looked sharp last night; Aquilani looked knackered after about ten very promising minutes.
It wasn’t his 500th game last night kickette – that was against Blackburn away – they simply marked it an Anfield at the next opportunity.
BTW why has Alex taken Nancy Dell Olio as her style inspiration?
Those two are cute and a little version of their parents (Lilly-Ella is a little female version XD)
Awwww! His girls are adorbale
And I think Alberto player rather well considering it’s his first proper appearance.
unbelieveably cute girls
and i really like Alex's pic…although she may look a bit..tired?
Technically not his 500th game but that one was away so I'm guessing they decided to do something at home for him.
When I was watching the match I nearly exploded upon seeing Stevie with his daughters. Too damn adorable.
Aquaman did well considering he hasn't really played in forever. Good movement. Some great interplay with Stevie. Did some backheels that worked, some that didn't. Sharp passing. But he got tired and started giving the ball away in the second half. Nando's appearance made the second half worth watching! He looked a little slow but still lively!
(Any idea why Daniel Agger walked out with two children as well? His cuteness combined with two children made my ovaries hurt as well.)
why were his kids on the pitch? (their are pretty though)
The gals were mascots for the game – probably because of Stevie's 500th.
It was his 500th game for Liverpool. Jamie Carragher brought his son out when he played his 500th game,
Thats my theory
i love the pic where he's carrying them! ah! it kills me! too cute for this
Aww Daddy and his two little princess' !
From what I've seen, Aqui looked really good in the first half, then got a bit tired in the second, which is understandable since this was his first start. So far he looks much more reliable defensively than Lucas, and I expect him to improve as he builds match fitness (fingers crossed he stays free of injuries!)
Hopefully this would free up Stevie so he'll be more effective going forward.
oh i wanna squeeze these little girls of theirs!!! they're soooooooooooo "mini-mes" of their parents!! just like another baller's babies (chris and chanel totti – he looks like mom and she looks like dad)
you know what i loved best? lexie hoppin' all the way holding daddy's hand!!! so cuuuuuuuuute!!! soooooo edible!!!!
about aquilani, i didn't see the whole game, so i won't give my opinion about this game in particular…
all i can say is the boy can surely play ball (i used to follow him in Roma) and he's a very very good-looking guy!!!! yummy!!!!
congrats to Steve G for his 500th game!!! and also for the adorable little princesses!!! btw, alex was looking good!
A huge "Awwwww"!!
adorable pics
they are so cute! love the little trainers.
lily looks exactly like steven and lexie looks like alex!
The girls are gorgeous – and it's true Lilly-Ella is a mini-Stevie and Lexie is a mini-Alex
Congratulations Stevie! on both: lovely daughters and the 500th game for Liverpool!
i just saw their trainers and it reminded me of some other baller baby, who wears them… i know i'm mental
he did okey, you can't have high expectations on him.. he's better than lucas of course, but it isn't hard to be.. more impressed by nando playing 25 minutes..
