Bubbas & ‘Ballers: Luis Suarez With Delfina

Baby Delfina! She hasn’t even grown eyelashes yet and here she is on the pitch! Are you dying? We’re dying. Bless her tiny, (seriously they’re the size of his thumb), cotton socks. Image via ProShots/ ONTD Football.

Soo cute :) Love this picture :)

  2. Emme says:

This pic is outrageously precious & Delfina is such a beautiful name! Only one of the many reasons I need a South American or Spanish baller husband…so I have an excuse to name my babies pretty Spanish names.

  3. lillah says:

    OMG SO CUTE! Both! :)

Hey, forgot that game against Ghana. EVERYONE would have made what Luis did against Ghana…it's not unfair play, it's instinct. And he got his penalty…red card and couldn't play against the Netherlands, so leave him alone..

The guy is sympathic and this pic is so cute.

    • Little Miss Arsenal says:

True, u cant exactly call what Suarez did ‘cheating’…any Ghanaian player would have done the same in that situation…BUT pls understand that Suarez broke all our hearts (yh, I’m Ghanaian) & if anyone did that against ur nation in such a HUGE tournament, u would b as upset as we are…still Gyan shouldnt have missed that penalty so i guess we can blame ourselves too

Seriously, so cute. He's usually my fourth favourite Uruguayan, after the three Diegos, but the baby may just give him an edge.

  13. christinaLFP says:

Now, you go score against Dynamo Kyiv tomorrow, ‘kay??

  21. gin_in_teacups says:

Damnit! Way to make me want a baby Kickette. Well, a baby and a hot baller husband who will do adorable things like this. I don’t want the baby if the hot baller husband doesn’t come with it.

  22. Sil* says:

That's why I love Kickette, cause here in South America he's a hero and everybody loves him for the World Cup handball…

Of course, being Forlán's friend reeeeeally helps. A lot.

    • LiL'V says:

Hero!?! Not on African soil I assure you!

      • mrs*football says:

oh most certainly not!! im from south africa, and ghana was my team after south africa and italy went out and before i discovered spain, and i was ready to book front-row seats to his assasination after that handball… (not to mention he was part of the team that routed SA 3-0, which didnt exactly make me favourably inclined to him in the first place!).But the kid kind of redeems him. a little. a very little.

  23. kat says:

omg..i used to hate him for the handball incident..but now, awww…i always being a big fan of bubbas n ballers..::melting::

  25. LoveFootballLoveFoot says:

Can't really see it from this pic but I love the jersey. She's so tiny, my nephew is a month today and looks 3 months old. It's so hard to find tiny jerserys here in the states :( They look adorable, but for the most part little girls always have their daddy's heart.

  26. Leá says:

Awww what an adorable baby! She's so tiny and she's already managed to wrap her Papa around her finger!

  27. Zahara says:

As if we needed another reason to love this man, he cradles his beautiful baby and melts my heart like a wad of butter

  28. Dutch89 says:

  32. cymraeg_ddraig says:

That is seriously amazing. I love this picture.

  33. JamilaRamos says:

OH KICKETTE!!! You've just killed my friend, she loves him…and now its too late for her :(

Anyway, I dream that one day, The Ramos will be taking our newborn son on to the pitch, and if he scores, then dedicate his goal to our son and do that baby cradling celebration thing. And look for me in the private seatings and blow a passionate Spanish Kiss…..

    • Tania says:

Wow, can I borrow your dream sometime? ;)

    • keziah says:

I was at the world cup final and at the end Ramos blew a kiss in the direction of where I was sitting so natch I am claiming it as directed solely to me. I was never a Ramos lover but he is trying so hard to win me that I'm almost there… problem is living half a world away ours is a love unacquainted :-D

  34. cherryboomboom says:

Oh my god … even I freaking HATE him ( because ghana got disqualified blablabla ) This is just toooo Adorable !!!!! <3 <3

  35. Elina says:

  37. Sil* says:

I reaaaaaaaaaaally miss World Cup and Suarez goals… Here in Brasil it's impossible to follow dutch football.

  38. annie says:

oh my goodness the look of adoration on his face is precious

  39. zoey says:

No matter how cute his baby is! Sorry for the typo, still enraged and typong very fast, blindly.

  40. zoey says:

    Did it again. Aargh.

  41. zoey says:

Totally agree with you. As an African i am obliged to hate him, no mateer how cute his baby is.

  42. ASM says:

i'm with you..i dont even need to be an african to hate someone that defiled the beauty of football..he might be honoured by SA for being their WC hero but the deliberate handball incident was unacceptable for any reason..never!!and dont worry, admitting the cuteness of this pic didn't mean that he's forgiven, right?

  43. Lyubov says:

OMG people get over it…true he used his hand he cheated but if you were in his position wouldnt you do the same nd its not like he didnt get punished he got a red card and ghana got a penalty, if they had scored and won nobody would b mad rite now, its not his fault they couldnt score tht penalty

  44. ASM says:

by SA i mean South America lol..

  45. ASM says:

how can you get over it??like i’ve said before, cheating is unacceptable in any circumstance..he’s so lucky with the punishment considering what he done to the game..he turned an absolute goal to a probability..so more or less, his decision favoured his side and he took that risk..yeah,maybe if the ghanaian scored that penalty nobody would got mad coz it still would be a goal if he didnt hand the ball anyway..but did you see that he already turned the purity of football into “fuck a clean game, whats prior is winning and advancing”??i’m pretty sure many football lovers out there dont wanna see the art of football being vanished by a full-into-result game..i guess you know what i mean..

  46. Pegasus says:

Football isn't an art, sweetie, its a sport. The point is to win. The beauty of the game is in the strategies and skills that are used in order to reach the back of the net. And, for that matter, to keep the ball from reaching the back of your own net. Any player at any level would have done what Suarez did. I certainly would have. Football isn't about purity, its about the competition. Its about sliding in the grass, cleat marks on your thighs, sacrificing your body to get that ball where you want it to go. Its about perfect passes and fast, hard runs with the other team's defenders breathing down the back of your neck. Its about having a cool head in a sweating body. Breaking the rules is part of the game, its part of the unpredictability of it. And the beauty of the game lies in that unpredictability. Sorry to get wordy, but its hard to describe in any other way.

  47. ASM says:

ikr..what i mean by art of football is what u’ve said before..(strategies and skills blablabla)points well taken and i couldnt agree more..but i’m kinda disagree when it comes to your ‘beauty’ of football..yes,breaking rules is part of football in order to win but…i personally think that suarez’s case can be a pioneer for ‘dirtier’ game in the future if we just move on and leave it behind(yeah, dont even care about rules if winning is the main priority)..you can call me a pessimist, but i failed to find a bright side on what suarez done to a FOOTball game(wheres only goalies are allowed to hand a ball)..i’m so sorry if this sound too bitchy anyway..

  48. Mrs. Krkic says:

Really ladies? This post is about Luis Suarez's beautiful baby, not about how much you hate him because of what happened at the world cup, which did not seem delierate. So please ladies, talk about the baby that we love, not the father that you hate!

  49. Camila says:

You're a misplaced, you know? You can not say that about someone like Luis Suarez. I'm Uruguayan, and I really disappointed to see that people from another country think like a person of my own blood Charrúa. That horror. Luis's hand inside the area (2010 World Cup: Uruguay Party-Ghana) was justly punished, that Asamoah Gyan has not taken advantage of, that's another subject! Top Uruguay or no no!

  50. Mrs. Krkic says:

Thank you!!! That is what i was trying to say!
