Bubbas and Ballers: Sergio & Benjamin Aguero
We’re going to hazard a guess and say that new mum Giannina might have preferred her fresh-exited bubba to get a few more days at home before making his pitch parade debut.
Regardless, Sergio “Kun” Aguero is brimming with pride over his new son – and it’s really sweet. He dedicated Atletico Madrid’s 4-3 win over Barcelona this weekend to little Benjamin:
“My son [Benjamin Leonel Aguero Maradona] came to the stadium to watch me play for the very first time, and he brought us good luck. All of us would like to dedicate this win to him.“
Guess no one had the heart to tell Kun that his baby probably hasn’t even grown eyelashes yet, let alone the ability to affect a football game, but let’s not take away from the proud papa-ness of the moment.
Equally proud grandfather Diego Maradona says the baby is 60% Maradona and 40% Aguero. Huh?
Side note: that is one edible baby. We’ll take an order of tiny nose followed by a pouty, sleepy mouth for dessert.
It’s like brother and baby brother but still very adorable to the max!
