Ink suppliers in Napoli breathed a sigh of relief earlier this month, when top tattooed totty Ezekiel Lavezzi signed for Paris St Germain for a fee rumoured to be in the region of £24m. PSG’s audacious plan to hoover up all the mad talent in Italy before anyone else notices continues apace, with Milan’s Thiago Silva agreeing a deal just last Saturday, and Zlatan Ibrahimovic rumoured to be on his way.
That would be a shot in the arm (not to mention a kick round the back of the head) for our Ligue 1 results round-up, no?

Enough, Already: Phillippine Azkals manager Dan Palami has announced his boys are about to go into a five month intensive training programme to prepare for the AFF Suzuki Cup in November. For those of you unfamiliar with the Azkals, we mentioned them here, and their goalkeeper is an underwear model.
We’ll check in in a few months with you, boys, but honestly? We’re not seeing much room for improvement so far.
