Front Row Fashion Off: Michela Q vs Melissa Satta

Two of Italy’s top WAGs donned two drastically different looks at Milan Fashion Week shows over the weekend, and today’s fashion off has taken us back to the wholeheartedly good vs exceptionally evil F5 contest between Xabi Alonso and Marco Borriello from light years ago (Alonso’s ginger halo won out).

On the left is Michela Q at the Emporio Armani show wearing a dress from their 2012 Resort collection. It’s demure, plain and slightly granny-ish. To her right we have Kevin-Prince Boateng’s lady who loves to overshare, Melissa Satta wearing a look from Just Cavalli’s 2012 Pre-Fall collection at the designer’s Fall 2012 show. While this look is not a fully-fledged devil in a blue shirt dress (even though she’s wearing something that was alive once), by comparison, it’s a far cry from Q’s funeral dirge of an outfit.

Who’s your style off winner and loser here, dear readers? Mrs Alberto Aquilani in her Sunday church service best or Satta’s short and staggered seams?

Indian Premier League Soccer: What You Need To Know

Fabio Cannavaro. Sought after wherever he goes, apparently. Here, he’s attracting a bit of interest from local kids in Phnom Penh on January 9th. Image: STR/AFP/Getty Images.

We’re not going to get wrapped in the complexities of the newly founded Premier League Soccer tournament in India for two reasons.

We don’t imagine you’ll be massively interested in a bunch of semi-retired footballers selling their services to the highest bidder so they can run round a pitch in India for seven weeks.

We know you and you’re as fickle as we are.

Mario Balotelli: Partially Bare-Chested Peace Offering?

Mario Balotelli may have an ongoing battle with clothes that we all deem to be inappropriate and quite naff, but he’s flexed his pecs in the new L’Uomo Vogue issue as a means to make amends with us, Kickettes. Do we accept, or should we demand to see a six-pack first? Image via pappzd.com.

Marco Borriello: Late Night Of Liver Burning?

Image via calcio nel cuore.

All the wrongs in the world would be righted if we could honestly claim late night frivolity responsibilities for Marco Borriello’s puffy eyes.

Oh, the scenes, sounds and smartphone-recorded proof.

Le sigh.

Christian Vieri: Boogie Woogie Blues

This video of retired footballer, Christian ‘Bobo’ Vieri, moving and grooving on Italian show ‘Dancing With The Stars’ didn’t do our delicate PTHE (Post Traumatic Hangover Experience) state any favours.
