At times, during our slow pre-World Cup summer season, it seemed that Rafael Nadal was the only A-list sports star getting his share of good looking footy love. ‘Tis not the case anymore, as Thierry Henry has upped the elbow-rubbing ante with a photo op featuring the Miami Heat’s controversial new player, LeBron James.
While James was in New Jersey to play the Nets on Sunday, he also had the chance to meet his ‘favorite soccer player’, as he once said of the former Arsenal and Barcelona ‘baller in Arsenal Magazine. Not only did Henry snap a few post-game photos with one of the Heat’s on-court heroes, but he also managed to chat and pose with fans, too. All while looking more appropriately dressed than Ronaldo and Raul combined.
Side note: any East Coast Kickettes plan on seeing Henry and his NY Red Bull teammates head back home on Thursday for the second leg of their MLS playoff tie against the San Jose Earthquakes?
