Eric Cantona on the red carpet at Cannes promoting his new film, Looking for Eric. His wife is gorge but we feel she could use a dollop or two of Frizz-Ease.
It’s an Iker Casillas mural. Upload your photo and you could be sitting on his pillow lips. Virtually, anyway.
England launches it’s World Cup 2018 bid with David Beckham, Wayne Rooney and Prince William. Great, but we’re still kind of focused on 2010 at the moment, cheers.
The seven deadly sins of football: we’ve been most fascinated with Wrath.
Get your dose of dirty-hot with Nemanja Vidic’s sexy-arse accent talking about his Man Utd boys.
Bonus: in case you missed the argy-bargy with Arbeloa and Carragher during the West Brom-Liverpool game, here’s the important bit – Xabi Alonso with his shirt off. Yes, they’re related news pieces.
Phil Neville sells his gold-gilded Versace-gone-mad styled house for £1.5 million under the asking price.
Oh dear. Elen Rives’s new man already has a woman. So much for that strategy.
Last, but far from least, hurrah to Dutch champions AZ, who won the Eredivisie title late last month – it’s their first since 1981. Sweet!

What do you get the girl who has everything?
Roman Abramovich has just purchased 100 acres of land on the moon for his girlfriend Dasha Zhukova. (Here they are earlier this week, strolling down Madison Avenue in NYC. We like to imagine that the only thing Dasha has in her handbag is a nail file and stacks and stacks of crisp hundreds. It makes us feel safe.)
Roman bought the moon space via the Lunar Embassy, which sells land to the weathy and the sci-fi freaky deakys amongst us. Oh, if you wish to pop by to drop off a happy land-owning gift, Dasha’s plot is located between 20-24°S latitude and 30-34°W longitude. No word on whether she plans to use the area for extra stiletto storage, though it would seem to make the most sense.
Random: Dasha is quite the culture vulture and has recently convinced Roman to get in on the Russian art market.
Coleen Rooney, bejeweled:, Coleen has just been offered £500,000 to help design necklaces, earrings and bracelets for Argos. So let’s see. Jewelry. Books. Perfume. A TV series. A £10m fortune all in her own right due to her being Mrs. Wayne Rooney. Ladies, the next time your beloved baller goes public on his indiscretions (perhaps with people nicknamed “Auld Slapper,”) please remember this moment, and know that sometimes true love is worth holding onto. Well done, doll!
Manchester United WAGs, cash-safe: The WAGs of Manchester are heaving a sigh of relief after learning that the players won’t have to shell out for expensive presents for all their teammates. Instead they’ll have Secret Santas — one gift apiece — and will be limited to spending just £5 on gifts. We’re excited at the prospect of Cristiano or Rio getting papped in Poundsaver clutching a stack of Festive Snowglobes and party packs of chewing gum.
Carly Zucker, unbitten:. Carly may be desperately missing her beloved Joe Cole’s “buff body” down there in Australia, but at least she got saved from a close encounter with “the seventh-deadliest snake” in the world. (Btw, how exactly do they determine that ranking? Perhaps last year this same snake was in 8th place and is having a good week as well.) Carly also was photographed bathing in a waterfall in a little yellow bikini looking rather well.
“Freddie [Ljungberg]‘s such a gentleman. He’s sexy and really knows how to turn a girl on. But Kieran [Richardson]‘s my little rough diamond. He’s a bad boy, that’s why I like him. We didn’t see much of New York, but a lot of our hotel bedroom. I know it’s naughty, both at the same time, but I’m a naughty girl.” So says model Anara Atanes, remembering the good old days when she two-timed Freddie L back when he was still at Arsenal.
Fulham keeper Kasey Keller has chosen Kaká for Time magazine’s 2008 Top 100 Most Influential People list. He brands the soon-to-be dad as a hero and pioneer. “…In an age in which many professional athletes care more about cars, women and controversy, it’s refreshing to see one who is committed to having a positive impact on the world around him.”
Manchester United’s Michael Carrick looks set to win the property battle with Blackburn manager Mark Hughes. It’s a war of super-sized bedrooms and multi-gazillion pound renovations. When do they get their own reality TV show?
Is former finest five hottie Adrian Mutu ever going to get his ish together? So talented, but seems like there’s always a drama. Luckily, he can still look in the mirror and feel reassured of his worth.
Our absolute favourite chavtastic-fantastic WAG, Yulia Voronin, is back in the papers, this time for her choice of blue satin leisurewear. We love the brazen embrace of all labels all the time.
Roman Abramovich spent £200,000 for his daughter Anna’s 16th birthday. That’s it? We’re quite disgusted by the lack of love and generosity shown in this situ. A girl only turns 16 once, you know Rom. What gives?
