While we were busily obsessing about what Sylvie Van Der Vaart was going to bring to the Premier League, we completely neglected to outline what her hubby has to offer. In light of recent events (above), we realise the error of our ways.

It’s a travesty. And we are truly sorry.

But between Cescy’s Twitter announcement and Marco Borriello’s … er… face we simply didn’t get around to it.

Happy 21st, Alexandre, and happy 22nd to Athletic Bilbao’s Javi Martinez ( left); your birthday yesterday was also sadly overlooked during our donut/perv fest.

We’re suffering from a case of the “shoulds”, Kickettes. We really should set aside a good few paragraphs here to advise you of the latest developments in the footballing career of Marco Borriello.

You see, Marco has just agreed a loan deal that takes him from AC Milan to rival Serie A side Roma. If all is well, he will sign on with Roma permanently at the end of the season for approximately 10 million Euros.
