It’s nearly World Cup time and we all know what that means: Italians in their underwear.
That’s right, they’re back. In this initial teaser shot, with the full campaign to follow sometime next week, Antonio Di Natale (Udinese), Federico Marchetti (Cagliari), Domenico Criscito (Genoa) Vincenzo Iaquinta and Claudio Marchisio (both Juventus) are this summer’s stars and we’re officially taking photoshop bets.
Edit: Rumour has it, Fabio *WILL* be making his highly anticipated return. Thus far, he’s not included in the outtake shot Chi magazine revealed…

It’s been a mad shirtless and short tent weekend, ladies, and nowhere more so than in Portsmouth. Avram Grant’s side topped off a totally ridiculous season (unpaid wages, insolvency, this) by getting relegated from the EPL and then going to Wembley and qualifying for the FA Cup final. Goal scorer Kevin-Prince Boeteng (above) was pleased, and we were equally satisfied as Frank Lampard stripped off following Chelsea’s win over Aston Villa. For their efforts, we’re renaming the FA Cup final the ‘Chest Championship’. Join our campaign, won’t you?

Never mind, we’ve got a lorryload of hot boys in suits doing good deeds at the First Annual gala of Champions for Children Foundation in Milan last night.
You’d think we’d provide some witty commentary to go along with the pics, wouldn’t you? Sadly, this isn’t going to happen. Not today, anyway.
Try to forgive. And if not, at least take out your anger and disappointment on Marco Borriello.
He looks like he’d be able to handle it. And then some.

Who ate so much this past extended weekend that they have chocolate oozing from their pores?
That’s a trick question, since we all know the answer. Especially the elasticated waistbands we’re bringing back for spring/summer 2010.
Not sure about you, Kickettes, but the holiday-weekend-that-was reminded us that too much family time makes us feel as crabby as Marco Borriello looks. Thank goodness for the edge-of-our-seats series of footy matches fighting for our love and attention in equal amounts as a certain great aunt with a moustache.
