We don’t normally post on the weekends, as working on a Saturday goes against every principle we have. Still, exceptions must be made in this case.
The surprising exception motivating us from our usual weekend schedule of sleeping, shopping and alcoholic beverage consumption?
The Ramos. We’ve succumbed, Kickettes; he’s nummy. Do not try to convince us otherwise, it is too late for us. Save yourselves.
We will now be counting down the hours until the Spain v Sweden match and praying for rain. (See wet Freddie Ljungberg photo below for justification).

Goodness, we’re spoiled for choice today when it comes to quality games and sizzle factor players. Group C teams in action are Italy v Romania, followed by The Netherlands against France.

Let us quickly state for the record, although we enjoyed watching yesterday’s Austria v Poland game, we were rather shocked by the fugliness of the Austrian team – usually we look forward to the national anthem camera pan closeup with glee and HD anticipation. Yesterday, not so much. Still, onwards and upwards.
Today, we’ll be focussing in earnest on most of the Italian team, with a nice dose of Romania’s Adrian Mutu for extra Friday joy; we also look forward to seeing Patrice Evra and Thierry Henry working up a sweat during the France game, and to watching everyone’s favourite mud covered Dutchmen engaging in some high quality man love. (See below).
Your predictions for the winners today, Kickettes?

Sadly, he took part in the Paraguay national team session wearing clothing. Our apologies.

Here’s Manchester United’s Wes Brown and his girlfriend, Leanne Wassell (not his wife as we mentioned previously) arriving in Italy for the McRooney wedding.
We’ve got to say it: he may be ginger, but he is looking fantastic of late.
Welcome to our radar, Mr. Brown. Hope you enjoy your stay.

No, we have no idea who he is either, but since when does this matter? It’s Monday damn it.
So, Anas (a terribly unfortunate moniker, we must admit) likes to walk around his balcony at one with nature and feeling the breeze on his nethers. Good for him.
Since Mr. S is a reserve for the Croatia team, it’s likely this is the most we will see of him over the Euro 2008 tournament. For those inclined to know a few more details, he’s 21 and plays for Rijeka.
