Aside from the importance of spreading good handbag vibes around the world, Frankie has gone Stateside with her band mates to film a reality mini-series and record The Saturdays’ next music album.
Kudos to the USWNT, who beat Japan 2-1 in the Olympic Women’s soccer final last night thanks to two goals from Carli Lloyd and some spectacular saves by ‘keeper Hope Solo, who managed to remain sober for the important bits.
We bet she’s drunk now though. We bet they’re all drunk now.

It’s nice to see that women across the world celebrate good news in equally creative fashion as the lads, isn’t it? While we presume that Team GB girls weren’t drunk whilst playing Brazil in the Olympics last night, we certainly were by the time left-back Steph Houghton scored her third in three games and confirmed GB’s place in the quarter-finals.
Despite this heroic effort, Kickette kudos for the best goal celebration last night is unquestioningly with USWNT’s Hope Solo and Christie Rampone. They set off across the Old Trafford pitch in a pre-planned ‘worm’ after Abby Wambach scored the winner vs. North Korea.
We’ve never tried that one. Not alone, anyhow.
