Reports insist Roma’s Federico Balzaretti is in a race against his fitness so he can face former club Palermo this weekend. Federico’s hair, while we don’t understand it, is quite endearing. And weird. But more endearing than weird.
From what we’ve seen of Italian footy’s wives and girlfriends, they’re just normal girls doing their best to support their husbands and boyfriends. Case in point Mrs Balzaretti, Eleonora Abbagnato, who’s helping her man’s strained thigh heal by forcing them to accompany her at the shops.

Hello! announced exclusively this afternoon that Carly Cole, wife of Liverpool midfielder Joe, had a bouncing baby boy on 19 October at Portland Hospital. We don’t think it’s ever taken this long for news of a ‘baller bubba to circulate the wild web so well done on the secrecy front, Coles.
The little fella, whose name has not been released yet, joins 2.5-year-old Ruby Tatiana. We were unaware that Carly was even pregnant until we speculated about it in September and our faithful Army confirmed it. These two have really fallen off the radar, eh?
It looks like the Twitter account that we believed was Carly’s is now shut down. Something about lack of privacy being the reason. Right. We’re sure young Mr. Cole will make his glossy debut in the aforementioned magazine just as soon as he can fully open his eyes. Congrats to the family!
Abbey Clancy fulfilled her catwalk destiny Wednesday night and walked in the Lingerie London show. The show featured couture and luxury lingerie designs by Agent Provocateur and Atsuko Kudo. Unfortunately our favorite lingerie designer, Marks & Spencer, did not show. Maybe next time.
