Champions League Draw: You Like?
Whilst Frank, Fabio and Florent form some kind of open-mouthed, consonant-loving supergroup, we’d like to take a minute out of your day to talk about the Champions League Draw for the knock out stage.
Quick recap on the match-ups:
Stuttgart v Barcelona
Olympiakos v Bordeaux
Inter v Chelsea
Bayern Munich v Fiorentina
CSKA Moscow v Sevilla
Lyon v Real Madrid
Porto v Arsenal
AC Milan v Manchester United
Of course the big talk is all around the Premier League deja vu for David Beckham (with Milan) heading back to Old Trafford and Jose Mourinho (bringing his Inter boys to Stamford Bridge), but we’re thinking the Bayern v Fiorentina match will also be a corker.
What are your thoughts on the next stage of the draw?
Every year for the last few years, my team(s) have played EPL teams…hoping the matches’ll have different outcomes this year.

Am currently studying in Moscow…went to watch United vs CSKA the other day..*flipping awesome*!!!Course,i was excited for the next round..Sevilla..should be good!Alas,RM or Barca or Arsenal heck, even Chelsea would be good..
Other way round for me, my boys have to play Stuttgart
oh my goodness, this is crazy but fun both at the same time, i’m a huge AC MILAN fan so of course i will be gambling with my boys, specially sexy Nesta got to love this man, he is like chocolate it never tires me. so Forza Milan.
*sigh* Seems like it's in the stars for me to have my teams knocked out this year. But I realize I have and will see a lot more of their ups and downs, that's just how it goes.
I really wanted Dinamo Zagreb to pass the group in Europa league because they would've qualified as second and possibly drew Liverpool. And then I could finally see them live. I can't believe I've seen both Manchester United and Arsenal but not Liverpool yet
But no
there's another team that got knocked out.
As for CL draw, some interesting matches there. I'm mostly interested in CSKA – Sevilla to be honest, I think it's a pretty even match-up of two teams that don't meet often so they don't know what to expect, also I like both of their styles.
Same goes for Porto – Arsenal actually… sounds like a cracking match.
Well at least UEFA couldn't make all my favorite teams play each other just yet, as they each won their respective groups. However, each of them have tough games ahead. It will not be easy, but I have faith in each of them. COME ON YOU BLUES! FORZA VIOLA! HALA MADRID!
I saw Chelsea v. Inter this summer in LA…. It did not live up to the hype, of course, Inter was going through major Zlatan dramatics and Chelsea owned them basically.
I am betting Jose has not forgotten and it will be brutal. I will have his boys ready in a way that Carlo cannot. Jose knows those boys inside-out and all their flaws
I’m sure Milan – Man U will be interested but I’m afraid that will be the last game for Milan… Chelsea – Inter and Jose back at Stamford Bridge – exciting and Bayern – Fiorentina might be killing, too. I think Real can make it against Lyon… I cross my fingers for Liverpool against Unirea.

I'll be cheering on the Italians (sorry Schweini) and wishing that Fiorentina hadn't gotten Bayern, but at least it will be interesting.

overall it’s a draw with a lot of interesting games, tough but interesting.
The worst part is that we have to wait until mid-February
Oh my God, this draw really kills me and more because I live with an Inter supporter (my older brother), so if Chelsea lose vs Inter, he will be bothering me the whole day, grr, but also I remember what happened in Los Angeles this summer, so I totally think that Chelsea is going to win on Stamford Bridge and they’ll draw on San Siro.
David Beckham’s return to OT, oh my Goshi, this really kills me more than the Chelsea-Inter matches, seriously! I really think as Milanista, that Milan is going to win their match, I really want to watch Milan on the next round

While the Champions League is now dead to me (as a Liverpool lover) I have to acknowledge that some of these games are going to be amazing. Chels vs. Inter and AC Milan vs. United should be great games.
However, I need to focus on FC Unirea Urziceni from Romania. I will also be wondering what the hell I did to deserve this.
i’m from romania and i can tell you that although they are a good team, unirea won’t be putting too much pressure on torres and the other boys. i believe liverpool will have a nice qualification going here. i was sooo hoping that unirea will play against liverpool, as the are one of my favourite teams in the world. unirea plays european matches in bucharest, so many people will attend the match. hope nando will be fit!

Don't mind Man Utd & to be fair don't expect Milan to beat Utd so don't mind the result of that one. If Milan unexpectedly win & get through excellent, if Man Utd win then it was expected & so ok. Just hoping Chelsea get beaten…I love Carletto but cannot stand that Chelsea team whatsoever, I hope Jose can use what he knows about them & somehow pull off a win there. Anything to stop Chelsea getting that Champs League trophy, they can have as many Premierships, FA Cups, Carling Cups etc but I never ever want to see them champions of Europe…at least not while Terry, Lampard, Ballck, Drogba, both Coles & numerous others are still at the club. Forza Inter!

Oh God. With how Chelsea have been playing, we'll die against Inter. If they can pull their act together and be the team they were at the beginning of the season again, they'll be unstoppable against Inter.
