Champions League Results: Simply Goaltastic

Wow. Last night’s Champions League group action was more exciting than an Hermes sample sale.
In case you missed it, here’s what we observed:
- Frank Lampard’s increasing use of thigh-covering under-armour is becoming a serious concern.
- He should, perhaps, take a cue from Milan’s Marco Borriello and work a scarf instead. Sexy-mofo looked like he needed his own personal catwalk out there.
- New hotness on our radar: Atletico Madrid keeper Sergio Asenjo. He’s twenty, aka, legal enough. (pic from last month.)
- Chelsea gaffer Carlo Ancelotti’s eyebrow has been under discussion of late. We’ll end this mystery right here: botched Botox. Happens to the best of us.
- Not seeing Nemanja Vidic play in every single game possible is a major problem for us. We’ve become obsessed, you see. For example, time taken to write this post is time away from our Vida scrap-booking.
- Sergio “Kun” Aguero continues to be extremely pocked-sized with a man-sized amount of cutes.
- Wayne Rooney, Kaka, Didier Drogba: some damn fine footballing skills right there.
- Pato needs a haircut.
What’s your take on the results? Hope your boys had a good evening’s work.

All base layers should be banned!
Yes, Pato needs a haircut
LUUUUUCAAA TOOONNNII<3
lol is not just me then….pato does need a hair cut!! seriously!!!!
Boriello is soooooo hot!!!!
Ancelotti….. what can i say
LMFAO! I love hearing the Ancellotti eyebrow-theories. The real explanation is much less amusing – he was in a car accident and that's the lasting result. Weird, I know. But I absolutely adore him. Seriously.
The amount of Underarmour on Chelsea in general is a concern. Carlo needs to fix this. Immediately.
I’m still sad that Ancelotti went to Chelsea, I love that guy! Hoping he basically fails like Scolari & goes to a nicer club so I get back to liking him again without feeling guilty & bad about myself for liking him.
Anyone but Chelsea would be fine!
Totally agree. Not that he did a super job with Milan last year and I do think Leonardo shouldn't be judged too harshly yet, but I miss Ancelotti! He should have just stayed in Milan, Chelsea should stick to having mean coaches like Mourinho.
WHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAA xD
Eyebrown of Ancelotti xD
Yes, it was a sad, sad day when Frank started wearing those compression shorts, but if that’s what it takes to protect those amazing thighs of his, then I’ll accept it. As long as John doesn’t adopt the practice! EEEK!!! *immediately banishes horrible thought*
All i can really Say is Yoann is looking hot!
Yoann is always looking hot lol
If you'll allow me I'll just post a bit of our usual man-loving.
Ehm, nevermind, it doesn't post like it used to.
It was BRILL – Porto are through and are now just waiting for the other lazy bums to get in there too.
my boys are playin 2night….go arsenal…
Lamps….baby….we need to have a talk….
It's like Lampsy is punishing us…
Oh and did you see Stevie G said he is "devastated" that Xabi left. Made the fangirl in me squee. Made the Liverpool fan in me cry.
maybe he miss his kisses…
Kickette! I have another conclusion for you.
Italian guys can't keep their pants on.
I went to the Juventus match yesterday and Chiellini and De ceglie went to their fans and gave them their pants and shirts. And I was there. Unbelievable.

Wait: you were THERE? Why haven't you been hospitalized?
And where are the copious pictures you took of said shortsless action?
Unfortunately I was kind of hypnotized and couldn't find the strength to raise my hand and take the picture. Disappointing.. i know.
I've been saying that Frank Lampard's compression shorts are concerning since, well, 2008…
