Blue is the colour! Thank you Kickette for the lovely JT pic. It was, indeed, a beautiful day to be a Blues fan. Thanks to all of the lovely Kickettes who stopped by the chat and Twitter (oh and below!) to offer their congratulations and support. The first half was a bit terrifying for me, but the second half showed Carlo can make the proper adjustments to lead the Blues to victory. This gives me hope for the season. After all of the disappointments and frustrations of last season, it was nice to see the Blues winning. To the ManUnited supporters, a good game and stunning form by Rooney (even if as Nicki points out, some of us believe he was offside). I can appreciate your frustration with the officiating as no bad call should change the result in a game. Take nothing away from the Blues though as this victory was certainly earned. Blue is the colour!

Cant wait for the Elite XI and FF! I am still pumped up from yesterdays game, mainly because it means the season is starting and my Blues won!! Always great to kick off (what I know will be a great season) with a trophy. Not to mention comeback and a goal from Riccy!! First half was hard to watch, but then Chelsea decided to show up second half, gives me high hopes for Carlo. After it was all over I was almost happy they let Rooney get away with that offside because the PK's turned out to be fun to watch

Roy now qualifies as hotest manager in the Elite Squad now! Yippee.

Looking forward to the restart of TTO, hoping it will continue in same style. ie. 2 players from the same team to avoid anti team comments as opposed to thigh comments.

I know without having to see it that I will disagree with most of the FF. I am not a young fangirly, but an old Hag instead, therefore I tend to like the less pretty boys, and more macho men

I would like to be able to express my congrats to chelsea for their victory yesterday……….but I wont as it was not the fairest officiating I have seen. Suppose it makes up for their loss in the CL semis. Which game would I have rather won…….ponder…….not.

Wow. I’ve been in the middle of moving house and it looks like I’ve missed alot of drama, which appears to have been mostly edited. I’m glad. I can hardly bear to read that kind of stuff. I’ve seen it before, but it still suprises and hurts me. I know alot of people just don’t care about that either. (I also know some of you do- and I thank you for your support or your respectful silence, as the case may be.) It was an exciting match, and a brilliant win and I am completely thrilled and proud of my boys. Thank you to everyone, whatever their team affiliation, who offered genuine congrats. That’s lovely of you all. Kickette, thank you for stepping in with your comments. I see so much negativity on this main page- often from the same one or two people- and it’s always so disappointing. It’s nice to know there’s a limit. (And also the caption for the pic is hilarious! I’m not ONLY looking at his shorts, but I do include them in my viewing schedule! *blush*) And LoveLamps, your post was all class. Blue is the Colour!!!!!
