Copa Libertadores: Argentina’s Velez Sarsfield

We’re green in the face to admit this, but, prior to seeing these guys’ chests, we had little knowledge of the Copa Libertadores.

Thanks to the research tool for the lazy and half-arsed, Wiki, we now understand that the tournament is the most prestigious annual internal club competition in South America.

Copa Libertadores: South America as Champions League: Europe. Get it?

On this day before the long weekend, the only facts we were able to muster up:  Argentina’s Velez Sarsfield lost 3 – 0 to Brazil’s Cruzeiro and Santiago Silva, Nicolas Cabrera and Manuel Martinez lost their shirts soon after.
