Cristiano Ronaldo: Close Birthday Encounters of the Cougar Kind?

Cristiano celebrated his birthday (last Friday) in two parts, beginning by attending an event at the Santiago Bernabeu to help promote sports among the Madrid immigrant and elder populations. He also reportedly held a private dinner at his new Madrid digs and shared the bromantic guest of honor spotlight with Kaka.
Now that we made reference of some news let’s get to the nitty gritty: his approach to smooching. The woman/cougar in question? Someone we can’t be bothered to google. (It is Monday, after all). But we’re still going to judge him for his lean-in. We think it needs work.
Specifically, we’re not impressed with the “lean in for the kill”, closed-eye pucker up. Surely he should be eyes open, cheek forward?
Of course, our first kiss fantasies with Cris always involve him shirtless, so perhaps that’s half the problem right there. Or maybe it’s just good old fashioned jealousy.

Esperanza Aguirre is not well-liked in Madrid. Her title of president of the community of Madrid is just another one of the long list of “figureheads” who “run” Spain.
She wanted to include Ronny just so she could smack on him. By his facial expressions, he wasn’t thrilled to be there and then to have some old bag (she is NOT a cougar…she is a dinosaur) swap spit with you? ewwwwwww.

The Cristiano who, despite the death of his father the previous day, stayed to play Portugal's qualifying match for the last World Cup, in Russia? The Cristiano who tried to stay on the pitch, running in obvious pain, for 45 minutes, after that crazy **** from Holland tried to break his leg, at that World Cup?

I’m not saying he doesn’t give a toss, but Nelson seems to give more of a toss, in completely different contexts, of course.
The truth is the team doesn’t need to be carried by Ronaldo, that’s what people don’t seem to get. It’s counter-productive to center the whole team around him. We certainly managed to win the important matches when he wasn’t available.

Despite the talent of its players, Portugal has some of the worst finishing on this planet. We dont score enough goals and need all the help we can get.
I find too often the players get complacent and seem to think that Ronaldo will just make magic.
Lets be honest here, if FIFA hadnt made it easy for Portugal and France with the change in seeding rules, Portugal wouldnt have qualified for World Cup and that wouldnt have been Ronaldo’s fault.
We need to stop championing mediocrity, be happy with just getting by, and follow the example of our neighbours on the other side of the border.
How do you know we wouldn't have won the play-offs if we weren't seeded? That's not the winning mentality of our next door neighbours, is it?
I completely agree that we have terrible problems with finishing and because nobody was able to solve it we had to give Liedson the portuguese passport…
In September we were practically out of the World Cup and we had 4 matches to save ourselves. Who scored the goals? Liedson, Pepe, Simão. Who scored the decisive goals in the play-off? Bruno Alves, Meireles – Ronaldo couldn't be there.
If you think that the other players rely too much on Ronaldo, that's only the reflection of how much people center the team around him, when it shouldn't be that way, like I mentioned before. But the truth is when he wasn't there, the team united and managed the qualification.
And because we're getting terribly off-topic here, perhaps you'd like to pop by at the Portuguese thread in the community section and 'argue' with me.
Nelson Évora is definitely the sexiest man in Portugal. I love C-Ron as much as the next person but he does track which mean tight unitard all the time. WINNER!!!
