This site is awesome, happy to have found it even though I am a male. I have a question for you Girls that play soccer… do you all want to stop getting injured, become more athletic(and have a better body)? I coach women's soccer in the states and I write for a blog that emphasizes training the body for soccer. Go to and check it out for tons of free information! Thanks and glad to have found this interesting site.

How is it physically possible to be that good looking?

  6. Diana says:

I must admit that I can´t appreciate the way he acts sometimes, but I truly admire his fighting spirit and determination. He never gives up, thats why he is so good player.

    • Kristina says:

      Thumbs up!

      • Nas says:

Question to you, why do you always get thumbs downed? I don't comment alot here but I noticed you get thumbed down alot!

        • Kristina says:

Because I speak my mind. I'm not rude, but I do not shy away from unpopular opinions. I'm a Barca fan, and I admit it. I refuse to trash people that I do not know and have never seen doing anything bad. I don't want to seem ageist or misogynic. So I end up defending people that others do not like. So they don't like me either. I have become the pain in the ass in here. I've had my rows with people here, but I have some friends also. I keep coming back because I love the way the Kickette ladies write and to get my daily share of gossip. It's fun, and I don't mind the thumbs down. I have a life ;)

          • Nas says:

Yea just found it weird that all you said was thumbs up and you got like -4 on that comment.

Anyways just thought I’d ask sorry if you took it offensively.
Not a very active user on this site but I like to come once in a while and catch up on football gossip :)

            Have a good one!

          • Nas says:

Yeah just wondering, sorry if you took it offensively. Just found it weird that you thumbs up a comment and got -4 for it.

I don't come here that often, just once in a while when I want to catch up on football gossip.

            Have fun!

    I like Ronaldo

  8. RealFan7 says:

Cristiano is always trying to have a good time. Anytime you see candid videos or behind the scenes things he is always laughing and acting goofy without caring how he looks. He was even trying to "beat box" in the video of this shoot. It makes me so mad when people call him vain and arrogant. He's serious on the pitch. He's a true warrior out there, he never gives up and doesn't let anything stop him. What happened Sunday proves this. I wish people would see him as he truly is and not this image the media has made up. He is a role model, and someone people should strive to be like. Hala Cristiano!!!

    • Lara says:

the beat box was so cute =)

    • xoWinnie says:

seriously…the man enjoys looking good…my eyes enjoy him looking good. wish my bed could enjoy him looking good too, but beggars can't be choosers, i'm content with what i have! ;) why can't everybody else just be happy too? :-/

  9. Kristina says:

I must say it pisses me off a bit that Cris must have his face smashed to get some respect. He is a fine footballer regardless if he cares about his exterior or not. Don't get me wrong, of course he deserves praise, that's my whole point! What makes me angry is that people think he needs to prove it like this. IMO he has already proved that he got what it takes a long time ago.

    • Kristina says:

And with "people" I don't mean you guys in here. I know you know his qualities :) .

    • Lara says:

do not worry, there are still some people who thinks he's a jerk and he was acting lol.Few days from now people will forget this story and keep on hating him!
if he died playing football people wont praise him the way he deserves =)
but the great thing, he is being able not to give a flying f*ck to those people.

    • Sarah, Madrid says:

Today proved more and more how Cris image effect him, I can't believe players and coaches voted for Messi as player of the year in LFP and also which more shockingly voting for Pep as best coach of 2012, it is a joke!
However, when a coach like Caparros said what he said couple of weeks about Cristano, I shouldn't find this shocking, but for some reason I still believe perhaps people would look beyond what they think of a certain person is. Cristano did score less than Messi and assisted less, but in the end of the day Cristano was the more consistent player between two, he was the most influential in Liga, so I truly don't get it

      • Lara says:

I was gonna say the same!but I thought lets not drag down this issue to here.but since you've already did,im gonna say it out loud..this is UNFAIR!
2011 : CR with more goals,Messi won the leauge —> messi won the award
2012 : Messi with more goals,CR won the leauge —> messi won the award

        how is this fair?!
Day by day,I realize that Ronaldo doesn't need any awards to prove that he's the best..I hope he can learn that too.
I'm not gonna even be shocked when they give the balon d'ore to someone else just because "they don't like him"

        • Kristina says:

Now THAT is unfair. It could be that they actually think that Messi is a better player, you know. I really don't want to fight, and I'm not gonna, but the facts that you two take as evidence that people vote for Messi because he is popular, can actually be evidence that people really think he IS better.

When two players are so extremely skillful at what they do it is almost impossible to separate them. Then I guess you have to look at the whole picture, not just goals and titles. Then you look at the uniqueness of his style, or the entertainment value, or I don't know. I don't know what people who gets to vote think. I only know what I think.

But you must admit that people have been comparing Messi to Maradona and Pelé. And that many coaches has said that they have never seen anyone better. And that they have compared him to Playstation and aliens and that sort of thing. I'm absolutely certain that there exists NO universal conspiracy against Ronaldo. I just think he is unlucky to be contemporary to Messi. Please, take this as an honest opinion and not a provocation.

          • Lara says:

oh c'mon! as for me,I'm not looking at the whole image.I mean I don't care who is generally better.I don't care who is compared to whom because everyone has his own style. And I'm not afraid to say that Messi's style is very "fenomeno".He has abilities that none has.
As for Ronaldo it's all with his extraordinary hard work, and devotion. He has his own style too.

But what I'm talking about is the LAST season.when RMD won the leauge thanks to all the team efforts and especially Ronaldos.when he held Portugal to the semi-finals.and there's the spanish supercup (I dont know if its considered 2011-2012 or it will be considered 2012-2013)

you can say here that messi had scored more goals..but originally football is not about scoring more goals..because scoring dozens of goals is way less important that scoring crucial and decisive ones.BUT it has changed because they want messi to win everything.not because he is more popular as you're saying but because he has a proper media image than Ronaldo.

          • Sarah, Madrid says:

I 100% disagree otherwise Mourinho would have won best coach award, if this is not simply based on skills or merits because as you say Messi said to be the greatest player ever or compared to legends, same apply to Mourinho as a lot says he is the best coach ever in history of the game or best currently since his team broke every record possible with 100 points and 121 goals, I really find it as joke! Regardless of how Messi is better as skills in dribbling wise or not in comparison to Cristano that's another debate, the thing is football is a team sport, Cristano was the best player of the best team in history of Liga last season so I don't get still! This is not about how skillful player is or not! this is about who was the better player last season, Cristano simply was the best player and most consistent one! that's what logic said, I said my comment because it applies to both Cristano and Mourinho ( who btw broke the record that was held by pep in Liga of fastest coach in Liga to reach 100 wins in less games!) what more it takes for him to be determined the best based on merits, so it is all politics and the whole voting is close to popularity contest, even Iniesta winning it ahead the like of Cazrola or Ozil in Spanish football season is also based on popularity contest, hell even Iker winning best GK in Spain is not something I agree with as Roberto continue being better or Varas in overall season!

            • Kristina says:

Ok they didn't want me to answer you. I didn't say anything rude. I wouldn't. Let the best man win. I have no idea who it will be.

  10. Anita says:

    Awwwwww he is so adorable

  11. Agnes Wonka says:

I love him soooo much! Look at the funny faces he can make! I love when he's not posing sexy, he looks so natural and cool!

  12. woohoo says:

    awwww cutie

    • woohoo says:

Also I forgot to add Armani, this is how you should get CRon to do a photo shoot. Not that over the top zoolander crap. Nike really brought out the best in cr7.

  13. Utd Girl says:

Aww I love goofy Cris! I remember when he was doing an interview at his house back when he played for United, he was sooo funny! Granted, I could not understand anything because the interview was in Portuguese! Anywho…I almost cried yesterday after seeing videos of his eye bleeding and reading about how he lost vision on both of them. He is such an unbelievable player and person! If he never left for Real, I wouldn't have had a second team to cheer on! Animo Cristiano! Te amo!!!

  14. Diana says:

I heard that he will miss the match against Gabon. Hope that he recovers soon. Must say I kinda pity him. First the elbow and now this :(
    He looks hot anyway.

  15. Emeline says:

I was watching the Real Madrid/Levante match with a few friends that are completely indifferent to pretty much every club in la liga, always preferring a good premier league derby to an el clasico. Around the two minute mark, when Cristiano was elbowed in the eye (which looked pretty deliberate to all of us) and started spurting blood from the eye, all of us were completely silent. The second he scored our entire group (which originally didn't care at all for him) were cheering him on, screaming and crying as if it were a CL final of our favourite club. We later found out that he wasn't able to see, at all, and is in critical condition according to Portugal's medical staff. I, and everyone with me, saw something in Madrid that we hadn't seen from any team in quite a while — which is true heroism and true sacrifice. I now have nothing but complete and utter respect for every single player at Real Madrid, especially Mr. Cristiano. I hope you rightfully win the Ballon D'or, and, I can finally say — VIVA RONALDO.

    • Sarah, Madrid says:

:) )) Can you imagine how we felt about this game, we RM fans, it is not the first time he played like his, in clasico he played with a hurt shoulder scored a goal, against Deportivo he played with a cut in his leg as well, he is our hero superhero!!!

This game shouldn't have been played for the horrible pitch that could have cost us injuries alot of injuries ( Ozil is injured now :( ) we end up winning because o grit determination fighting over every ball, xabi incredible passes and finally our CANTERANO Morata, this game make me want cry, Iker saved the day too! This game just showed why RM is RM! Levante is one obnoxious team

      • Miss_F says:

I kept saying throughout the game, that someone's going to get hurt…and poor Ozil (it's not major but still). The fact that the ball flew around like a water balloon should have said it all really… But, well done boys! Awesome drive and determination… A fabulous game :)

    • gin_in_teacups says:

If I could hug you through the internet I would. Cristiano does not get enough credit for his work ethic and the heart he puts into every match. For all the talent on Madrid, what I love best about them is their fighting spirit, and it's great when people who aren't madridistas see and appreciate that side of them. So glad you and your friends enjoyed the match!

  16. darkchild says:

It's so easy to forget that he's a person, with fun/goofy side as well as what we see/hear in the press. The images of him playing w/his busted eye gave me a whole new level of respect for him as a player. This makes me want to go out dancing w/him and some friends. I'm hoping he recovers soon.

  17. Sarah, Madrid says:

This is one off your ART work Nike! Cristano our hero

  18. Kristina says:

How is his eyes now? I heard that he had problems with both of them after that nasty elbow yesterday. I can't believe Navarro (I think) didn't even get a card for that.

    • Sarah, Madrid says:

Well he said he didn't mean Naverro which I find BS, according to Mourinho he lost sight in his one eye, then lost in both in HT, he tried to join Portugal NT, but eventually after medical test said to feel dizziness and nausea no news about how his eyes is, but it is swollen

      • Kristina says:

Well, as long as there is nothing wrong with his eyes. I don't think they should've played on that pitch. There was a great risk of injuries.

  19. gin_in_teacups says:

This photoshoot is endlessly entertaining. Goofy CRon is my second favorite CRon, coming in just slightly behind goal scoring CRon and marginally ahead of one half of Criska CRon.

  20. Sally says:

I think he is covering his mouth not nose?
    anyways looking good as always.
love it when he does those awkward faces.haha

  21. Lara says:

    Ronaldo looks hot/sexy/handsome as usual.
so sad about his injury he took yesterday :(

  22. Miss_F says:

    His skin looks really nice…flawless!
