Cup Winners: Chelsea FC

Wahey! The Chelsea boys took home the FA Cup yesterday – Frank Lampard scored a corker to seal the winner, 2-1 against Everton.
He dedicated the goal to his papa saying: “It was just for my dad. My dad scored against Everton many years ago and he ran round the corner flag, albeit in a semi-final. It was the proudest moment in his career and so it was just a little thing for my dad.”
Congrats to all the blues, especially Ashley Cole who won man of the match. Was he your choice for the accolade?

last game of the season between 3rd and 5th place teams, with unenthusiastic players. cashley is so far away from interesting he makes shrek's in laws seem to be living a spit away. and lampsy is sexy only when he's hugging terry. as for frank sr..i'm surprised he ever got laid (pat deserves a medal). all in all chelsea shoud've won! great goals! end off! bring next season in already!!!!!!!!!!! i'm bored.
They don’t look like “mega douches” to me – they look like a proud team – the last team standing after 761 other teams fell by the wayside. So, deserving of congratulations, not insults. And I’m not a Chelsea supporter.

At last! Thank you Kickette! Congratulations to our Chelsea boys- the whole team, the coaches, Roman, and everyone else that has anything to do with our great club. It’s been a tough season for them, but they worked hard and got the reward! I’m so happy they were able to win this beautiful competition and this beautiful piece of silverware and provide Guus Hiddink with a great departing gift (though we’re all sad to see him go). Didier’s header was great, and Frank’s goal was fantastic! I’m so pleased he scored his 20th goal of season and such an important one at that. But then Frank has a way of doing that kind of thing. And I can definitely support Ashley as Man of the Match. He was fabulous. And special mention to Malouda, too, who has just been on fire lately. Another great performance. When John walked onto the pitch you could see the determination on his face, and I am beyond happy that he was able to lift that trophy. Well done boys! TFO, Freckles, and Dreamgirl- I am so not surprised to see that I could count on YOU girls to bring the class. Thank you! (FC43- you always bring the class…and the funny! lol)

Couldn’t have been a better going away present for Guus Hiddink.
On a side note, I think Michael Ballack *might* be the most photogenic person on the team. Even when he looks ridiculous, its still a good picture of him. And Bosingwa’s face is hilarious.
