And for some reason I like the viennese dialect and can understand it very well (maybe 'cause I'm from the south
I never heared him talk and I think he sounds really weird. Thank god (or adidas) for the english subtitle, because even as a native speaker that austrian accent is really hard to understand. At least for me.

As a fellow austrian, i cannot hear any sort of accent in his voice, that's 100% viennese dialect!

From my understanding, they arranged a friendly for over the international break so that he could get some much needed match practice. He is back to training with the team. It is only a matter of time before we get to see his adorable face ever week during matches!
