Pocket-Sized Ballers: Do You Appreciate?
Lately we’ve been pondering the hotness factor of many pocket-sized ballers that trot around on the pitch like pedigree miniature ponies.
There are quite a few of these such players that we find rather fetching, but their smaller stature limits our appreciation.
The analysis tends to go like this: Pro, they will fit comfortably and attractively in a WAG-sized handbag. Both portable and pleasing to the eye!; Con, we have a severe addiction to very tall shoes and thus, we may not even know if they were standing nearby or had pissed off to the pub instead of handing the credit card over to the shop assistant.
But enough about us. Do you like your ballers pocket-sized?
Well they're not exactly stubby, LTG. I like Cesc's height and he's pocket-sized but I'm only about 10cm shorter than him (and 10cm doesn't actually look like a lot) but I'm 15 so I'll grow and when I do grow more, I'll be his height or taller. But for now, pocket-sized is perfect. David Silva is only 5cm taller than me. If I wore high heels, I'd be taller. i like em tall for me but i think silva is adorable. and i always have a soft spot for michael owen. in my heart i mean. and somewhere else……

Hmmm. Well, they'd have to be taller than me when I'm in heels. That's about 5' 8". And if they are short, they'd better have an awesome body to make up for it. And a big bank account. And tons of talent.

I don't care for their height especially if they're cute and talented:))) BUT, I don't like them smaller than 170 cm, that's just too small.
i love pocket sized ballers because no matter how small they are, they're still considered tall compared to me in heels.

I tend to be attracted to men who are at least 8 inches taller than me… never knew why. Its just one of those weird things I like. Like feet. But I’m 5’4″, so if theres ever a baller my heighth pop up on the radar, let me know and we’ll go laugh at tall people. And while we’re talking to tall people, we’ll run into poles together.
Generally, I am all about the tall boys. I'm 5'8" without shoes, so with certain heels that makes me almost 6'0". Therefore boys over that, preferably 6'2" or 6'3", are perfect. So it's a little weird that my dream baller is practically my height, making him much shorter with my tall shoes. I'd be willing to, as Pavi said, "overlook" Cesc's height (or lack thereof). But no one else's, I think.
I love Lahm and Luis, height dosen't really matter cos I'm not going out with them.

I am just a bit over 5’1”, so they are fine with me. Michael Owen by anyone’s standards is stunning. And Silva gets cuter every time I see him. Don’t know who the other guy is.
They’re cute, but as I am tall and I like wearing heels 4 inches and up that could pose some problems o.O

depends on the midget. i have a terribly thing about bellamy, but i'm sure it's more the fact he's a real bitch than his size. and there was roberto carlos… they don't make midgets like that anymore
I completely agree with linz826. I'm not a fan of short guys, ballers or otherwise. They just look young to me, like they're not yet fully grown. I know that's mean, but I can't help it. I'm a tall girl (just shy of 5'9"), and my normal height requirement is 6'0". That's the minimum, although I have two exceptions for ballers: one is my Ryan, who comes in at 5'11", so he's almost there. The other is Michael Owen. Dating or marrying a vertically-challenged man would likely make me feel awkward, gigantic and self-conscious, but he's just so gorgeous that I think I could swallow my pride and get over the height difference. Only for Mickey, though… It's that face of his, I tell ya. Phwoarrr….

I wish I could get into them, but I can't. Guys shorter than me just don't float my boat. Boys are the only reason I sometimes wish I was shorter. What's worse, at 5'8", I look down on average-sized men, when in heels. That sucks. I'd still do Scholesy though. ;D
No, height is essential. Aside from my weakness for Gattuso, that's one rule I stick by.

I'm not a huge fan of short guys period–but Michael Owen is probably the only exception I can think of right now–invovling any guy i've ever liked–taller is always important, idk but it is. Owen is very sexy and a baller, so I make plenty of exceptions for him, haha
I’ve always had a thing for Mickey Owen and his wonderful thighs…the problem comes when he opens his mouth…yawn. And for some reason, Silva reminds me of a short, Spanish Crouchie, wonder if he can do the robot as good???

Well, I’m weird. Crouchie’s my no.1 so it would seem that I liked height, but I also love me Philipp Lahm, who is so pint-sized and wee. Sooooo cute though!
Tall boys are really attractive, but then again… most people (guys AND girls) are taller than me… so a lot of people can be considered tall to me. There are a handful of the shorter guys that are too hot to deny, so I’m lucky to be short enough to make them seem tall.
But… there’s something really hot about climbing up a tall man. Just ask Abbey.

No, sorry – guys shorter than me are a definite no go zone! However I too have a soft spot for Michael Owen. I met him a few years ago and he was so genuine and down-to-earth (no pun intended). However no matter how gorgeous the footballer, if he wouldn’t look out of place on a racehorse, then that’s him wiped off my ‘ogle’ list
