Debut: Toni Terry and Diamond Fritz

She did it. Toni Terry made her debut in a dressage class presentation at the London International Horse Show.

We admit to not knowing squat about horses and events of this nature, but is it the norm to carry a microphone? Please say yes. We have visions of Toni trotting around whilst singing show tunes and celebrity interpretations.

Toni admits to having trained 3-4 hours a day to prepare for the event. We’re rather impressed with Toni’s ability to stay on a horse while it does it’s horsey thing, and her ability to pull off jodhpurs. JT, you’re a lucky man.

Side note: Toni’s gal-pal, Abigail Clancy showed up in support. More on Abbey later.

   I must admit to being a little envious of the ready-to-go mount. God know’s I spent years training my youngster.

   Interestign with the brown theme, I dont think I have ever seen a brown hat! They are usually navy or black.

   I wish i could see a video but she surely looks great on that horse!

   I read this and wondered if Toni Terry was giving Clemens Fritz a diamond for celebrating her husband’s birthday but not Fritz’s…

   Good for Toni for actually spending three to four hours a day doing something.

   I think,guess,hope,that she was performing like a “guest” ‘cos I’ve never seen a horserider with a mic,just in some funny performances,and I’ve surely never seen one wearing a Xmas tree….she does look like a Xmas tree on her horse…she’s sparkling,the horse’s name is Diamond….

   I read the title and thought this was about a relative to Clemens Fritz. Epic fail on my part.

   I applaud her for actually holding the horse correctly. While this may not be PROPER posture for every day, for horse riding, its actually very good. I grew up around horses (I live in Kentucky – I see quite a few) so… yay for Toni Terry

   Her position is fantastic! Kudos to her for sticking at it and her hard work seems to have paid off! She looks awesome, like a natural and horse riding is a fabulous work out!

    Is she doing well? Martina- former tennis player- falling from her horse at German equestrian. Toni should call Jordan for advise, as former WAGs and newbie in equie sport.!

    Oh bloody hell Toni. What’s up with the jacket? What is wrong with the normal and nice jackets? They are classy.
    And her posture is not completely right. Shoulders back, hun.
    For the rest, no, a mic sure is not the norm. Too dangerous. A headset is normaly done but hey.
    I’d like to see a video of her performing.

    I’ve competed in dressage. Microphones and bejewelled garments are not the norm, trust me. She and her trainer did an exhibition pas de deux to a Michael Jackson compilation, so the sparklies are allowed. (I wonder if Nani was there since he seems to be AWOL from United’s bench atm.) That said she looks great. And kudos to Toni for the dedicated training. It is an extremely difficult discipline, and even if she purchased a “ready to go” mount (which does happen when celebrities want to compete without putting the years of training in) what she has achieved in a couple of years is admirable.

    did she get points off for her clothing choice? i didn’t know we could wear sequins/rhinestones/embellishment (??) encrusted shadbelly, when we rode. the flash could spook a horse. but she does look nice in jodhpurs, i’ll give her that…. and brown.

    What’s with all the sequins? You’re not suppost to wear any sort of glitz in the dressage ring.
