The rumour mill is chugging along at a speedy pace this morning with news that Manchester United’s Dimitar Berbatov is due to become a father.
His girlfriend, Elena Shtilianov is said to be pregnant – but it’s early days, only the second month. Now, 8 weeks is very early – most women don’t even mention a pregnancy at this stage – so either the source really sold out big time or it’s all much abump about nothing.
Btw, we’ve rarely heard anything about Elena on the circuit and here’s why. She rarely comes to London and spends her time chilling in their penthouse in Bulgaria. There’s also some sort of family feud brewing with the mother-in-law.
Elena was missing from the family outing to Italy last week to watch Berbatov play in the Champions League final in Rome after a family row over her pregnancy, it is understood. Mum Margarita and Elena have never got on since Berba began describing her as his fiancee. “I know nothing about Dimi’s girlfriend Elena, I don’t know her,“ said Margarita in a recent TV interview.
Ooh, what we wouldn’t give to see the woman who birthed the Berba go toe to toe with his WAG. Pay-per-view gods, make it happen.

I would suggest that if Mama Berbatov wishes to see the new grandbaby, she might want to rethink the snark/huff/biatchiness. Never give a man an ultimatum between his mother and his partner because the mother will usually lose.
