Eduardo on the Beach

Here are a few pics of the Da Silva family on the beach in Brazil, where Eduardo has been recovering from his ankle injury. Isn’t his daughter Lorena delish?
Okay, okay, here’s the real reason we’re posting the photos: Andreja da Silva’s sandals/gladiator thong shoeboot doohickeys.
The flashdance-80s-fashionista inside of us wants to embrace and adore, but the you-can’t-be-serious reality side is pointing out that these are effectively just a pair of boots with the toe-part missing. And that’s just wrong.
Or are they so wrong they’re fantastically right? They’re metallic burgundy moonboot sandals – worn on the beach. For a photo shoot.
Think we’ve just found our new girl-crush.
I noticed the moon boot thongs straight away as well. I'm so shocked and disoriented I don't know what I could possibly say!
Cute little girl. The wife has a killer set of pins, only ruined by what's on the end of them. Sorry, don't like the shoes.
She did match her belt to her shoes though…and the ankle looks good for Eddie there. I am not down to the girlcrush yet but then again I am still crushing on crazy Elen

Dúdú, sweetheart! So good to see you back on your feet. His family is so cute, his wife is beautiful and has I like the way she dresses – not that I would ever wear it but it looks good on her.
Hahaha, my mum's comment went she see this picture was 'Well, at least his foot isn't hanging off anymore.' Really made me laugh. Super cute family and kid. But I hate the shoe/boot/sandal thingys.
I feel inwardly happy that I saw those pictures before Kickette did and I posted them on my blog on Sunday already. That's kinda weird because I go to Kickette for my stories. Lorena is really cute though and his wife is insanely gorgeous. I love the shoes! LMAO I love how Kickette doesn't even try to hide the reason they posted the pictures. I'm not a real fashion savvy person and even I say a big NO on the shoes. It's the beach for Christ's sake. Go barefoot.

Thank you Kickette for posting these,I actually never knew how his wife or kid looked like.She is not a tipical WAG,they dont sell their life to the media.
And they look so happy together.
Maybe due to the fact that they still stayed a normal couple, or that they met when they were both so young.
He came to Croatia when he was still quite young and she used to watch him exercise for Dinamo,and they just looked at each other,not saying a word,as he didn’t know any Croatian and she didn’t speak Portuguese.But it worked out,I’m happy for them:-)
And I’m sooo glad Dudu is doing better.

Literally EVERYONE in LA is wearing those stupid sandal boot thingamajiggs!!!!!!!!! It’s driving me NUTS!!!!! Although, I will admit….hers are nicer than any of the ones I’ve seen here….that might just be because I have a preference for metallics though.

I love the way Eduardo and Andreja are looking at each other.They fell in love before he was rich and famous and it's good to see that the sparkle is still there.Their daughter is too cute to be true.I wouldn't ware those shoes but I think she wares them well.

Lovely to see Eduardo’s recovery has gone well and I wish him the best in his return to playing. Their daughter is adorably sweet in these photos. As for the missus, she’s quite pretty, but between the dress and those god-awful boots, she looks like a back-up dancer in an ’80s Lionel Richie video. (The one I’m specifically picturing is “All Night Long”. Having a good long laugh, too.)

Ahhh, a beautiful and normal looking family. Loves it. The sandboots (or “bootals”?) make me cry inside though. I’m only just getting be comfortable with the gladiator trend that’s going on, and this is just too much for me. The woman is sweet looking and pretty though, so I’ll try to get over the unfortunate footwear.

What a lovely child!…she’s so adorable…can’t say the same about her mommy’s shoes…uurrgghh..
I’m loving her shoes. Those are fab, but I don’t think I could ever pull them off. That last picture is ADORABLE, though. If Iker hadn’t already won the cutest thing ever with the abandoned children charity, that last picture would have had it.
