End of Season Bundesliga Bits

FC Bayern Munich VFL BochumAnyone else’s lady parts feel a tad on the achey-I-wanna-make-a-baby lately? Well then, seeing Arjen Robben’s son Luka won’t help the cause.

FYI – According to unconfirmable sources, Luka is around two-years-old and is Arjen and wife, Bernadien’s first child. Mrs. Robben recently gave birth to the couple’s second child, named Lynn.

So, is there a universal rule about all toddlers named Luka being outrageously nummy?

We can’t decide which photo has the higher “aww” factor: Luka’s extra long Bayern Munich scarf or Alma Reina’s Fruity Pebbles ponytail? This one’s rather difficult; someone get Luka a teddybear to ease his worries.

Jens Lehmann looks great for an old fart. Saturday was his last home game for Stuttgart, as he’s retiring at the end of the season. Come this weekend, he will be a card-carrying AARP member.  However, that doesn’t stop him and wife Conny from going at it like two teenagers at a car park.

Cologne GermanyFollowing their match with FC Köln, our arse-crack research team spent hours trying to figure out this chain of kneeling Freiburg players. It may have something to do with what’s on the backs of their shirts, but we can neither make out the letters or find a German translation. Are they searching the grounds for free burgers? We’ll take ours with cheddar cheese and tomato.
BundesligaSchalke’s Manuel Neuer is quickly learning the gestures/dance to the Village People song “Y.M.C.A.” He’s going to need to learn that to entertain people at the World Cup, since he’s now the #1 German ‘keeper. (And as an aside, we’ve heard that it’s fun to stay there.)
This weekend is the last of Bundesliga; how do our German-loving Kickettes feel about that?

These kiddos are ADORABLE!! All of them!!

Cannot comment on all the others right now coz my "lady parts feel a tad on the achey-I-wanna-make-a-baby lately"!!!!

I’m a bit fed up with Robben after the CL semis but his son is really cute. This post needs more babies, I think I’m addicted.

Anyone else’s lady parts feel a tad on the achey-I-wanna-make-a-baby lately? YES, YES, YES!!!!!!

    • Thea says:

not really – am only interested in the process of making them with the hotter players!

  7. Ella says:

I call a tie between Pebbles Reina and Long-scarf Luka! 2 of the cutest bubbas I've seen!

  8. Kathrin says:

Awww, my Freiburg boys :) They could have given me a burger if they found one. But I guess they weren't searching for some. The Freiburg fans were singing "We want to see the caterpillar!" (I hope that's the right word :D )

And on the back it's "Wir bleiben dann mal oben" which means something like "We'll stay in the 1st Bundesliga" (very free translation). Because with the draw against Cologne they are staying in the 1st league. :)

Just in case someone is interested :D

Luka is such a cutie with the big scarf.

And to your last question: I'm very, very, very sad :( The weekends will get boring.

Baby week is mushy week by default :D

Happy with the outcome of Bundesliga – Bayern won the title, ie Olić and Pranjić. Schalke came really close and Rakitić plays there. All of them really contributed to the success of their teams. Great to see them riding high with confidence ahead of the new qualifying cycle.

Awwwww. Robben and Luka are really cute. Even cuter tho was when luka high-fived Badstuber.

  11. Nope, my lady parts aren't achey but looking at baller bubbas makes me want another step grand baby – a boy this time! Our beautiful bubba Lexie is a year old next month. I must start dropping more hints (and showing my stepdaughter these pictures!)
