Some mid-sections are never concerned with being caught unawares, Kickettes.

Here’s a “we came to get down” selection of them from all this weekend’s matches.

(Just in case you're not going to post this later) I loved the little group make-out session the German players had going on after Bender's goal. This bit in particular: http://24.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_m5tml0REIN1qakr… :D

omg Cristiano's birthday message to Junior! *waaaiiillssss* so fricken cute! Portugal! Portugal! And I guess that tweet was right Kickette, there IS only one Ronaldo ;) *snark snark snark*

    • con2e says:

Unfortunately for you, he is not the "real" Ronaldo. That one comes from Brazil. As good as your Ronaldo is, he will never come close to the now "fat" Ronaldo as opposed to your Ronaldo. Good luck in the quarterfinals, hope the flight back to Lisboa isn't too uncomfortable. Snark very much intended.

      • xoWinnie says:

Meh, stay hating. Can't rain on this parade, hard as you may try! *toothy grin* Kickette threw shade and I threw it right back. Oh, and I bet you liked that Pepe goal last week eh? ;) stay pressed, luv!

      • Kristina says:

I guess there is two Ronaldos after all. I don't know what tweet brought this about, but there is definitely two. Even if I agree with you that "fat" Ronaldo was just a bit sharper than the new one perhaps, the new one isn't half bad ;) .

        • xoWinnie says:

there are two! "Fat" Ronaldo is a legend, and CR is paving (and already has established his spot) in history. i'm just referring to the cheeky little "There is only one Ronaldo" tweet Kickette posted during Cris' dismal performance during the Denmark game. not Cris' best night so i think everyone thought they ought to have a go at him…

          • Kristina says:

Aha. Missed that one. Anyway, we should be happy that the world does not only have one but two Ronaldos. Regardless who is the best. The new Ronaldo does his bit and he does it well. Of course he does. My only problem is that he is ganged up with Pepe everywhere, so I can't cheer for his team. I used to cheer for Portugal, though.

            • xoWinnie says:

LOL Pepe's ruing Portugal's cred and likeability -__- well, at least he's making up for it on the pitch!

              • Sarah, Madrid says:

Pepe has been nothing less than amazing for Portugal o.0! FABIO where the hell was that with RM! I mean offensively

            • con2e says:

I love Portugal! What a fantastic country with fabulous people and beautiful cities and countryside, BUT their national team has Pepe in it, I have a really BIG problem with him. I wish I could root for them, but I can't. OTT , Real girls, how can you support him? He is such a twat on the field!

    Simon Kjaer wins.

  21. Kristina says:

I know, for someone who comes from another Scandinavian country I should feel bad for he Danes. But DAYYM I love them Germans! The three M's, Mats, Mario and Mesut, is just icing on that fantastic football cake! I have bet Spain vs Germany in the final. I hope it will be so.

  22. sarah says:

Ronaldo was on fire last night , im so proud of him.
scoring twice on his son's birthday must meant alot for him .

hope he continues like this the rest of the games :D

  23. German_Girl says:

    Deutschland! :D

    • German_Girl says:

Should probably say though that I do feel for the Danes – spent a lot of my summers as a kid in Denmark. Lovely place and lovely people. (Especially Agger :D )

  24. Sarah, Madrid says:

I am sooooo happy for Cristano he really knows how to silence his critics, his little message to cr junior is so adorable and first goal dedication overdose of adorablness!
