Euro 2008: Friday’s Eye Candy Lineup

image

Goodness, we’re spoiled for choice today when it comes to quality games and sizzle factor players. Group C teams in action are Italy v Romania, followed by The Netherlands against France.

Let us quickly state for the record, although we enjoyed watching yesterday’s Austria v Poland game, we were rather shocked by the fugliness of the Austrian team – usually we look forward to the national anthem camera pan closeup with glee and HD anticipation. Yesterday, not so much.  Still, onwards and upwards.

Today, we’ll be focussing in earnest on most of the Italian team, with a nice dose of Romania’s Adrian Mutu for extra Friday joy; we also look forward to seeing Patrice Evra and Thierry Henry working up a sweat during the France game, and to watching everyone’s favourite mud covered Dutchmen engaging in some high quality man love. (See below).

Rania – YES. He is gorgeous, I think he is unbelievably sexy. he's so charismatic and arrogant and smart and it's just outrageously sexy. He speaks four languages, chain smokes, has a law degree and a rock band and isn't a bad manager at all. I sort of love him.

  2. rania says:

Is anyone else feeling Slaven Bili?????

  3. Sherry says:

I never quite understood what’s so hot about Luca Toni anyway. He’s like… a big black dog.

  4. HoneyBee says:

Poor Mutu-missing a penalty, owes money to Chelsea, his grandmother died last week. But it was nice to see everyone supporting him after that miss.Dutch are in fab form! I HAVE TALKED TO SOME OF MY FRIENDS ABOUT ITALIAN TEAM-they aren’t in good form but more importantly THIS IS THE LEAST ATTRACTIVE ITALIAN TEAM FOR-WELL AS LONG AS I CAN REMEMBER(AND AS LONG AS MY MOTHER REMEMBERS WHICH IS MORE WORRYING).Usually entire Italian team is hot now just a few. I would like to see Romania in the next round.

  5. Julia says:

Mutu is sex on legs!!!! I support Italy, so I was glad he missed the penalty, but I also felt really bad for him.  It was kind of cute how sad he was, but I felt bad more then anything.  Then again, Italy had a goal that should have been onside but was disallowed, so it could have been 2-2.

Oh well if Italy goes out and Romania makes it…yummy.

  6. Pink Panther says:

So it looks like the Dutch are the giant killers of this competition? I can't say I'm unhappy with this turn of events. I'm still LOL over Italy.

  7. emziief says:

Mutu. I love you! But all you Dutch boys, I love you more. 4-1 against les bleus! Now that's what I call Euro2008 winners. Pleaseeeeeee

  8. The Fourth Official says:

  10. Betsy says:

I hope Romania beats Italy…unlikely but would be nice. They need to get their business together is Italy is to make it to the next round. I enjoy the hotness of the Netherlands more than France so I will have to go with them.

  11. carly says:

Felt sorry for Mutu missing that penalty, but his goal was great. I've been really impressed with Romania, hope they go through. And Mutu's hair is so touchable :)

  12. Lucy says:

I think Holland will beat France, I'll go with 2-1. I'm never right when predicting scores though! I'm not feeling Mutu love, he kinda looks bobble-headed to me.

Well, it's sunday now, so I'm too late to post my score predictions. I'll just stay and enjoy the yummy picture's.

  14. LoveLamps says:

Mutu is perfection, even if he missed the penalty kick. He's like this close to Frank for my heart right now. :)

  15. FootballerChick43 - says:

Very, very nice :) Loving the "Group of Death" ballers… too bad half of them will be gone. Hmm.. I think Italy will pull a victory out of their butt against Romania because they'll probably have lost their cockiness by now and actually are starting to realize that its entirely possible that they may not go into the next round. I say Netherlands and France will draw, or Netherlands will beat them. Just my thoughts though.

  16. AJ says:

Mutu is hot in the face, I’ve got to give him that. But, like I’ve stated before, I struggle with the pint sized ones. I’m tallish and I like heels, what can I say? :) I was rooting for Romania, mainly ‘cuz I wanted to see a death duel between France and Italy. That will either be the one of the greatest European games ever or a complete bore. I don’t support either so, bring it on either way. :)

  17. Pau de Silva (aka Sambu) says:

hahahaha if there is a God I´m sure Italia will no pass to the nest round Holanda is playing really good so Rumania 2-1 Italia Netherlands 2-0 France

  24. Sarah says:

I really like France, but I kinda want to see the Netherlands and Romania go through, just because no one really expects it. Well obviously the Dutch are incredible, but before the tournament started no one (and by no one I mean the analysts and announcers…I always thought they’d do well, and I know lots of the Kickettes did too!) really thought they’d win the group, it was all about France and Italy and the World Cup rematch. And everyone completely discounted the Romanians, which is silly because they’re still like number 12 in the world!
