Europa League Observations: Hypocrites & Hamstrings
Spurs’ Michael Dawson takes his shirt off to celebrate his side’s 5-0 win over the SPL’s Heart of Midlothian. Maybe this Europa League stuff isn’t as bad as we thought… Image: Dean Mouhtaropoulos/Getty Images Europe/Zimbio.
As you know, we can’t be bothered to write stuff about the Europa League until someone actually wins it. Or does something random in a manner that attracts our magpie-like attention.
However, the powers-that-be at Kickette (read: the higher-ups who hope for a Michael Dawson tunnel exposure repeat) have spoken, and so here we are.
Whether this Friday morning photo post (which is the quickest and most convenient way of bulldozing through our to-do’s without doing any actual work) will be a regular thing or not depends whether or not:
A) All caffeine is hidden during the first hour of the work week’s last day
B) Our local bar’s ‘Buy One, Get Two Free’ offer becomes permanent.
In the words of every Tweeting footballer out there, ‘leggo’.

Oh, Michael. I love you most of all!
do all spurs players "remove their shirts in celebration" (a.k.a. 'stripping') when they score? Because I would so become a Tottenham fan if this became a regular thing.
And congratulations on your win!
Yes! They do! You can still be a fan. For the record, I'm crazy in love with Liverpool too! But It's just something special about my Spurs…My husband says it's wrong to love two teams from the same league, but I just can't help it.
Well I see nothing wrong with that. I like Everton, Manchester United, and now Tottenham!
Michael Dawson…………yummmmmmmmmmm!!!
COYS! I hope they perform just as well in the league.
Congrats Tottenham!
