Fabrice Muamba has been released from hospital, barely a month after he collapsed on the pitch during Bolton’s FA Cup tie vs. Spurs. The midfielder was “technically dead” for 78 minutes after suffering a cardiac arrest and thanked medical staff for the prompt action that aided his recovery. “Their dedication, professionalism and expertise is simply amazing and I will forever be in their debt.” he said.
He also thanked the thousands of well wishers who had contacted him via Twitter.
If only all news could be this good, Kickettes!

Thank god. I'm so happy!
Fantastic news! He basically knocked on heavens door, and now he's here, smiling Wonderful!
Was so glad to hear this, especially after the news about Moronsini. Still sad about that one.
wonderful news, and especially today of all days, when italy is mourning piermarco morosini.
YAY!!!!!!!!!!
Fantastic news! Happy to see him come through this ordeal….God bless him
I wish him all the very best and hope he regains enough health to play again.
I was so happy for the news and he looks healthy and happy in the picture!
I heard they are considering defibrillator implant for him so he could possibly play footies and be back on the pitch agin! Hope he continues to recover well!
I think they already gave him the implant. Good old Fabrice. I saw him play for the Arsenal youth team against Southampton in 2005. He was immense, and I couldn't believe he was only 16. I hope he plays again, but his health is obviouly more important.
Best news in a month!!! He looks so happy and healthy.
This picture made my day.
His smile, such happy news!! God bless him.
That's the first thing I thought of when I say this picture, what an amazing smile! Here's hoping he'll be back on the pitch one day.
