gah, the idea of solo Cheryl makes me gag. And I’m American and adore Girls Aloud. Maybe that’s why the idea of solo Cheryl makes me gag.

I think she is far too overated. She is an average singer at best and although pretty, it is an exageration to say she is the most beautiful on the planet. When she opens her mouth she is the same old chava thug who became famous overnight and so called nations sweetheart courtesy of cheating Cashley. I am sick of all the hype and brainwashing by the media.

She definitely has no talent. Her singing voice is really average. Nobody seems to know Cheryl Cole outside of the UK (I’m living in South Korea but I’m Canadian). This song shows just how badly Will.I.Am has fallen off as a producer, but it feels like he gave Cheryl his b-side junk and told her to work with it. He definitely wouldn’t do this to Lady Gaga if he had a chance to work with her. Oh, and the video, trying to hard.
I wish I lived somewhere where she wasn’t all over the papers…
She’s overrated. She has no talent, she’s just pretty. Like most WAGS she get’s to much attention, for no bloody reason. Whereas some other WAGS do what they do, but don’t have the camera’s up their bum. She’s not popular here in Canada, but you know what? I’m tired of seeing her everywhere.

I think this song is an amazing cure for insomnia. Even Will i am looks bored! It just reminds me of a poor mans Lady Gaga.
Totally agree about her being ‘pretty’ but I dont like the fakeness. WAGS here are too fake. Italian WAGS are naturally amazing. Their whole lifestyle is better than ours. Plus, i cant imagine the media being as interested in them, as ours are. I really dont like the song. I really dont like the try hard video either. But for some reason it will probably be number one.

I don’t like the blond hair, but I do like the song, mostly. If they lost the heavy dance beats and remixed it with more guitar, it might be awesome. It sounds alot like Snow Patrol- the guitar in the beginning especially, and the song itself reminds me of the SP song ‘Set The Fire To The Third Bar’. But the dance stuff sort of ruins it. And I haven’t hit Cheryl-overload yet. lol

No no no blonde looks terrible on Cheryl. Ermm when I was in the UK last week, I was a little sick to death on the never-ending media coverage surrounding her, particularly those focussing on her supposed marriage problems with Ashley. Love her, but please; I need a break from her.

Back to the music/the video: The only thing I like about it are the split screen effects, it’s something you don’t see too often. The rest is just plain weird. Am I the only one who thinks that neither lyrics nor music nor video fit together in any way? She’s singing about meeting the love of her life. Who the hell wrote the lyrics and said: “Wow let’s combine it with some sleepy electronic music and weird costumes and dancers that make no sense at all!” And Will.i.am is a part of this piece of crap, I can’t believe it.
Cheryl should stop trying to be edgy or pretending to be a real artist and stick to her pretty-pop-bird image because it’s getting a tad bit ridiculous.

I have little patience for WAGs in general. I want to know as little as possible about them, unless they have a worthy reason to be known about. I find Cheryl Cole beautiful in a very synthetic way, so she’s not interesting to me.
The WAG thing is getting rather tiresome…to say the least!

The blond doesn’t suit her at all. She looks totally washed out. I haven’t seen her video as I’m in the states and she’s never broken through over here, (or Girls Aloud). Maybe I’ll look it up on YouTube or something.

3. As for the Media coverage, well she is stunning but sadly thats all shes become so famous for (and of course sympathy). I believe if she wasnt so attractive the backlash from her staying with a cheating husband would have been much greater! She isnt a fantastic singer, and I dont think she has the character to go solo. So for me she’s totally blown out of all preportion, and its getting a tad boring. But its the usual from the British Media, when it suits them they’ll drag her down again (so predictable).

And although I like some songs on her album, she just should stick with Girls Aloud. Nadine is the only one with the chops to go solo. The rest are best as a group. It’s fine if they do solo STUFF, like TV, movies, modelling, fashion, just not MUSIC.
Agreed completely! Girl groups ALWAYS make the same mistakes as the ones that come before them, they dont know a good thing when they have it. With girls aloud she can have a lot longer spell in the public eye than going solo. But they never learn they all want to be THE star, but the truth is they just dont have enough talent to go solo. It will be a short phase and then nomore….the usual i.e Geri Halliwell 
I really only have an answer to #3: I’ve had quite enough news and information about Cheryl Cole, and I could do with a break.
Let me just say this first. I ADORE Cheryl Cole. Girls Aloud are my favourite band of all time and I even named my car Cheryl :p

1) the blonde do does not suit her at all, the only blonde she did do well, was in the ‘i’ll stand by you” (sort of a biscuit/ wine blonde)
2) the video for 3 words is not good at all, the song already makes me want to sleep (listen to it with headphones and you’ll see what i mean), and all the revolving and then the blonde wig just makes me dizzy, (i want my bed)

Whoever said she was starting to pop up in the States is not telling the truth. No one knows who she is over here and I’m glad. I only know of her or her band because I use to live in London and Girls Aloud was huge with the young girls. I hope she doesn’t try her hand in the States because it’s way too much competition over here. She should stay in the UK where she’ll be better tolerated because I think if she tried to become famous over here, she’ll fail. Leona Lewis is talented and beautiful and even her recent album has failed over here. So unless she can walk on water or eat fire or something really spectacular, she will not make it here.
