Fernando Llorente: Hot Cross Buns Crooner

Fernando was a guest on Spanish TV Show ‘El Hormiguero’ a month or so ago [Ed. Note: a reader named Jennifer points out it was really a year ago] and you can enjoy more of his clarinet work, a brief foray into cookery and his views on the importance of scoring (!) here. Images via bellazon.

Now Fernando, would you prefer we went through our repertoire of horn jokes or dusted off the old ‘blowing gags’ folder to put you off?

Oh sorry. Did we distract you?

    My Lion Man. Love him.

  3. Lucy says:

He should be on the finest five instead of Fabregas IMO

    • xoWinnie says:

yup. i don't think Cesc should be there at all,
but i'm even more offended that he's there IN THE TOP POSITION!
      like WTF!

    • Goonerette says:

He turned ugly after he left Arsenal, Dating Daniella and that long hair *nightmare*

Word. I get everyone on that list except "Sex" Fabregas. Ok wait, Jack has yet to grow on me, but the point is that Cesc, when compared to the Borri, just looks so … homely. Llorente on the other hand has a lovely "good guy next door neighbor can help with your, er, plumbing" vibe about him.

  8. Holla_back says:

Hot Cross Buns was the first song I learned to play on the clarinet when I was younger. He makes playing a dorky band instrument look so hot!
    *sigh*

  9. Jennifer says:

Fer was actually on El Hormiguero last year, not last month!

There's also a picture of him as a tiny tot playing recorder, from a different long interview: http://conlaroja.wordpress.com/2011/03/15/and-eve…
