Frank Lampard: Milan Calling?

image Our sources tell us Frank Lampard is booked on a flight to Milan this morning today.  Perhaps he fancied a quality expresso and all is well on the Chelsea contract front.

To our dear Kickettes in blue, could the JT/Lampsy era of wuv be coming to an end?  Be still, our slash-footie hearts.

UPDATE: Alas, we and our source got this wrong. Lampsy was seen training today with the Blues and our hopes that he will stay at Chelsea live on another day.

Can't handle this news today. Might have nervous breakdown if he leaves. I will definately be incapable of creating entire sentences. Hence, my blog will go without updates for an extended period of time before I recover. He better not leave.

Nice rear shot Kickette. Cheers. :) It would be strange if he went to Italy. He’s sooo English. His father, uncle, cousin and his own fine self, are one of the great English footballin’ families. The Charlton’s have them slightly beat, of course. ;D Good luck to him if he does go. Sure won’t miss Elen’s eyebrows. :)

This makes me sad. This makes me very sad. Deco is no replacement for Lampard. We need Lampsy! (and Lampard needs to stop being so damn greedy & accept the £140,000 a week.) Zummer blog.

Nooo, Lampsy and JT cant be over. I so dont want Frank to leave, it would break my heart! He was my first footie love and he is still my favourite. I will do all i can to make him stay, how can he walk away from chelsea and his life for the last 9 years? He is just being greedy, hes being offered so much money and he still wants more, i cant believe he would choose money over chelsea. All footballers say they love the game and would still play if it was for sunday teams, but i think this proves that the money is important. Frank, listen to us at kickette and stay at chelsea. We know whats best. Dont Go. We Love Youu!! x :(

The Mirror has some cute pics of Frank sulking in training yesterday. http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/2008/07/15… Yeah, I can't imagine him playing elsewhere, but his demand for a 5 year contract is ridiculous. A player at his age is lucky to get two years (Giggsy, Neville, Scholes).

  6. DC says:

Liverpool fan here. Frank cannot leave Chelsea. he just can't. there is no way I can imagine him in Italy or not being in Chelsea. that's like breaking a really strong OTP. and you shouldn't break OTPs!

  7. Yasichelsea says:

They are all romours! He will stay in chelsea forever! That's all!

I think Frank in Italy could be a brilliant thng for him and for the England squad (Sorry Chelsea bbs), but I think he mght need the new challange. Granted he seemed interested in Big Phi's training techniques, so maybe there is a challage there too. All I know if that I am about sick of it…make the damn decision aready

look! he is in the perfect position for me to go and kick his ass! dont you dare Frank James Lampard JR!

  10. Blair says:

If he flew to Italy today, then how was he in both training sessions with Chelsea? Unless he can time travel or something. Ay?

I’m not big in the Lampsy love, so I have no personal ties to whether Frank goes or not. As a Chelsea fan, yeah, it will suck without him at the Bridge and be extremely, extremely odd, but personally – if they’re willing to put out funds and he wants to go, let him go. Theres no use having another C-Ron situation and getting the BBC to call it “modern slavery.” I mean, he really liked Mourinho, and thats apparently where he’s going to roost this season or two, so… I guess we’ll just see.

NNOOOOO I cannot believe it!! I thought that since Scolari came to CFC and the training pics he was doing okay…but this I can’t take!! Ugh, JT and Frank can’t separate and I have been pissed that Chelsea didn’t give him the contract. I’m annoyed he wants money instead of being with a great team and if he goes the decision will break my heart :(
