Freddie Ljungberg: Buh Bye Arsenal

image

Freddie Ljungberg is leaving Arsenal FC.

It’s the end of an era. An era spent watching Mr. L cavort in his skivvies for Calvin Klein underwear ads and other sizzling modeling jobs where he flexed his pecs and we were transported to a happy, well-toned and wealthy place.

Without incurring the wrath of our friendly neighbourhood Arsenal supporters – with Theirry Henry on defect to Barcelona and Freddie on the way to West Ham – we have to ask: is this team still good looking?

I think we all know the answer to that question.

If people would look at the guys right around them instead of being so absorbed in TV people, they would think more guys were cute. http://www.silver-colloids.com

  2. I think Freddie is the best. It is a pity he has gone.

  3. Allan says:

We have cute boys left, but no real hot men now that Freddie is gone. (I’m still freaked about that.) Cesc is simply adorable and will probably mature to be quite handsome. Theo is stinking adorable, but he looks, like, 12 years old. Clichy is pretty cute, but again, on the youngish side. I happen to think Lehmann is handsome, but I would understand if others didn’t think so – it does creep me out a little that he resembles The Hoff. http://www.downloadtorrents.org

I watched this film at the cinema and likes it immensely! It is so exciting and interesting! But my brother watched it at home (downloaded from http://www.rapidsharemix.com ) and said the film nadn’t impressed him much… Thus, do not watch films at home

i could go on and on about that man’s perfect jaw, his curly hair, his green eyes, broad shoulders…

    i knew we were cool.

And we both think God comes to us in the form of an aging Italian defender?!

    *jumps up and down*

    OMG! IT’S MY DOPPLEGANGER!

  7. ballack's missing hair says:

cate? are you me in disguise? lehmann is the reason i started following football!

    *twilight theme*

    the man is gorgeous.

  8. kickette says:

*taking all your fav players/hot team info into consideration*

‘cept we’re not budging on our SG opinion… please do not stone or maim us for expressing this seemingly controversial thought. we like him, but we do not fancy him. except for his legs. they are welcome to join us for tea anytime.

  9. aja says:

i, too, enjoy gael clichy. i have no feelings for sg.

  10. Cate says:

Heh. You do know the reason Stevie G. is hot is because he’s Stevie G., right? He’d be a rather average bloke if it weren’t for the mystical glow.

  11. Cate says:

    OMG I think Lehmann’s a babe.

I thought I was the only one.

He was the reason I got into football in the first place.

Captain Fabulous is not to their liking????

It must be the forehead wrinkles – nothing a little botox wouldn’t help. Becks can probably get him some cheap in LA. I personally find him dreamy – wrinkled and all.

I kind of dig Riise too. And Kewell – how can you not find Kewell adorable?

The Reds are definitely the team to watch and the team to *watch*.

  14. Robin says:

    Amen to that.

  15. Cate says:

    Haha.

Don’t get me wrong. As far as I’m concerned, if you play for Liverpool, you’re a babe.

    Except for Mascherano.

  16. ballack's missi says:

    nobody be trashin’ our boys, aja! <img src="http://www.kickette.com/images/smileys/wink.gif" width="19" height="19" alt="wink" style="border:0;" />

  17. aja says:

ballack’s missing hair, you took the words right out of my mouth.

  18. Cate says:

Right you are Robin, and I fully agree. However, I thought it would be more helpful to our case should Captain Fantastic be excluded from my list; Kickette has stated before that Mr. Gerrard is not to their fancy.

    I know. I don’t get it either.

    *shrug*

    Ah well, more for us.

  19. Robin says:

Liverpool has the yummiest men that’s for sure Cate but you forgot our skipper – Captain Gerrard himself. Tasty.

  20. ballack's missing hair says:

    LOL, kickette!

we’ve still got our cesc, and then there’s my man’s man, jens lehmann, and robin van persie, and the foetus theo, and come on, don’t you think edu da silva is a leeetle cute? ‘cause i think so. but i’m not biased or anything. pinky swear.

oh, who am i kidding. all my boys are cute.

  21. Cate says:

    WetSpam

    *snork*

Hahahaha! That’s a good one! I hadn’t heard that one before!

West Ham is actually… They’re going to be a force to be reckoned with next season. I’m scared of West Ham. They could be one of the Big Four next season.

But Liverpool better with the League.

    I’m just sayin’.

Speaking of. Kickette, I don’t see much Liverpool lovin’ goin’ down here. And we got Torres. Yes we do. *yum* And Xabi and Arbeloa and possibly Heinze. Not a completely ugly team if you ignor Javier.

    Ugly bastard.

  22. Helena says:

End of an era indeed for Arsenal.

I will find it very hard seeing him play in the claret and blue colours of WetSpam.

  23. Robin says:

Wow. Well West Ham’s attractiveness quotient just increased exponentially.
