Freddie Ljungberg: Collegiate Cutie

Well, it looks like Freddie Ljungberg attended school in some kind of amazing 1980’s haven of free expression.
Note the (bubble gum?) cigarette yielding Puli-dog haired G&R wannabe on the bottom left; the bottle-blonde rock-nouveau intensity of the mini-Nik Kershaw dude on the bottom right; and, oh hell, let’s face it – they all look like rejected extras from the Sixteen Candles Over-sized Sweats and Sun-In reunion special.
This was clearly an education system that valued creative interpretation of teenage angst during photo day. How we envy these hormonal little sprogs.
But no matter: proving that his good looks (but sadly, not his hair follicles) have been long-lasting and true, Freddie Ljungberg (2nd row, 2nd from left) is representing it well for all the curtain-haired lads of the late eighties.
