Freddie Ljungberg: Misquote or Mistake?
Bit of a hoopla in the press today about some comments Freddie Ljungberg made about his former manager, Arsenal’s Arsene Wenger.
Initially it looked like Freddie had been snacking on a large fruit platter from the tree of sour grapes – he’s quoted as saying that Wenger was like an army task master with little sympathy for his injuries and claims he moved to West Ham just so he could play against his former team.
However, Freddie has since issued a statement claiming he has never actually spoken to the news source who first broke the story, (Russia’s Den Za Dnem) and emphasized that he enjoyed a good relationship with Wenger and the club.
Dear, dear Freddie. Regardless of what really has occurred, we truly wish that you – and so many others of your ilk – learn that it’s always best to just make bedroom eyes at the camera and wear a pair of briefs in a marketing campaign. Public speaking is not necessary, nor wise. Leave that to the less-attractive folk.

ha ha, just saw that on another site and came over to kickette and wham it's now here. hmmmm, i read it and thought 'no, he couldn't do something like that could he'? interesting title though kickette. is it misquote, mistake or out and out lie? who knows!
Here here Kickette! Posing in briefs only please! That goes for you too Becks. Now if you are Italian or Spanish or Portuguese, please feel free to speak, as long as you emphasize that accent. Oh, and be in briefs too
!!!!!!
Unfortunately I do believe that those things occured at the club. I have not agreed with Wenger’s treatment of some players although I still think he’s a great manager. I think some of these things did happen to Freddie, his only mistake was to have said these things not knowing they would come back.
The evil witch: looking around into a past, a past she never even knew and which never even interested her.

Sure he said it. Now he's saying he didn't say it so that people won't say mean things about what he said. Fresh Legs Blog
who needs hair. the best looking men come without!
Who cares what he has to say?? Just look at him!!
I don't believe Freddie would say something like that about Wenger! I prefer to live in my little Arsenal dreamworld where everyone loves each other.
I'll confess – Arsenal does not interest me in the slightest. But I'm going to waste away an hour of my life looking for more Freddie Ljungberg when he played there. I really wanna know what he looked like with hair.
I don’t think he’d say that. But he looks so hot there…:D
No! I don’t think he said it either but I doubt Wengers losing any sleep either way! Too right Jesse!!!!
