WC Friendly: Spain 2, England 0
Becks tries in vain to change Xabi’s mind about his (ginger) beard.
As is per usual, watching any games involving England leave us needing new anti-aging creams.
It’s never relaxing, is it Kickettes? Honestly, David James should be employed by Botox – you watch him fumble around with a ball, three new wrinkles appear, men in white coats roll up with a needle and a smile.
Never mind, it’s all part of the English charm.
We thought Spain looked very good; we were seriously impressed by David Villa and his pocket-sized soul patch of mad footballing talent. Of course, congratulations are in order for David Beckham, who got his 108 cap last night, as well as a last minute yellow card.
Speaking about David’s skill and heart on the pitch, Iker Casillas had this to say: “He has character and personality and is very important in the dressing room.“ Read into that as you will. We’ll be looking at this photo in fond memory.
More from the other International games later today.
